Some editing flubs on this one 😅 I'll chock that one up to the sleep deprivation... Here are the records!... Wesley Fuller - All Fuller No Fille Richard Henshall - Mu Vol. 1 EP Magic Fig - self titled EP Eric Slick - New Age Rage Scott MckMicken & The Ever Expanding - When It's Happening The Flamboyant Train - self titled Quarter 2 brought more than this... will share soon.
Hey, welcome back! And congrats on baby #2! My wife and I had our second back in February. The lack of sleep is real 😂 Here's a few that stood out to me in the last couple months: Andrew Bird- Sunday Morning Put-On The Decemberists- As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again Zach Bryan- The Great American Bar Scene Psychic Temple- Doggie Paddlin' Thru The Cosmic Consciousness Aquilus- Bellum II Oh, and my favorite to play for the baby that is actually really good and relaxing- Songs of Birdland. Love all the Mozart and the Hawaiian themed Rhapsody in Blue...Praying all are healthy and happy. God bless.
Thanks man! And congrats to you. Played Songs of Birdland this morning 👍 Also… we’re on the same page about Aquilus - a surprising favorite of the year so far.
Congratulations matt, send love to our little one from all of us ❤️🎉 btw, have you talked about Django Django and shearwater band on this channel before 🤔? I'd love to see some of your thoughts on this ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Django Django's Marble Skies was in my top albums list from 2018. That's the one I go back to. The new album was tough to grasp - not my thing.
Congrats on the the newborn Matt!! Glad to have you back! (i totally missed this upload lol) Cool to hear ya talk about the Dr. Dog solo stuff. Eric's album is great, and I'm actually just coming around to the new Ever-Expanding album. I gotta say I'm really digging it though, it carries the ease of the first record with a 1960's psych coat of paint. Its also probably the proggiest thing hes done given its only 7 tracks at 40 minutes. Flying Over Water might be one of the most blissful songs I've heard in a while.
Thanks man! Glad to be back, and there’s so much Dr Dog music this year! I’ll review the new one, and then I have a fun Dr Dog collab coming up soon 😊 And agreed with Flying Over Water. Love the extended lengths on the whole thing
@@MattOLearyMusic niiice!! I'm so looking forward to it 😁 I'm on a huge Dr. Dog kick again because I caught 3/4 of their recent live shows 😂 reminded me of why they're my favorites in the first place. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the new one. And let me tell ya, listening to flying over water on the plane ride back from Red Rocks was ethereal
Since you're more on the power poppy side of things, I highly recommend these: Kyros - Mannequin TWRP - Digital Nightmare Marty Friedman - Drama Ugly (UK) - Twice Around The Sun Amskray - Die Happy
