Hey Kasim, I think you should pay more attention to what Bing is doing with their paid search AI. They are integrating paid links in conversational AI messages and also referencing 2-3 organic hyperlinks per answer in the same way. It's like a user would search for the 3 top Google results. It's a interesting approach and can be a nice comparison between both search engines.

Quick question 😊 If I target the same keywords in PMax and Search campaigns will they overlap?

V interesting, I just googled this (I know the irony). Does this not just mean that your (i.e a seller's) content needs to include more descriptive text that the GenAI can find and then link to? The example that google gives sounds much more top of the funnel (ie good ebikes for 5 mile commute for hills) so perhaps being able to capture that and provide content that speaks to that will help you feature in that top section?

Wouldn’t this change the way Broad match type works? Especially because Exact Match would be so difficult to target with a conversation based search!

Bard is Googles alternative to ChatGPT - not SGE.

I think it's a failure to yourself and your agency to say "This is the death of so many things" but rather it is simply the change of so many things. the only thing we can predict accurately is that Google will always change. we gotta shift our perspective and not be so romantic about our processes. always look forward, never back. adapt, change your processes and be excited about it. that's all we can do.
