NBA2K24 - How To Get Custom Rosters Into Freestyle Mode

This is a workaround to quickly get your custom rosters into Freestyle mode so you can test your CAPs and shot creations without having to create a MyNBA franchise. The workaround is similar to last year but slightly different.

When I’m in the ‘create roster’ mode my custom player shows up but in scrimmage and freestyle he’s not there, do u know why?

Check the player rotation for the team. Custom players usually slot into a reserve slot by default and can't be accessed in freestyle unless you move them into a rotation slot or do a reset on the rotation.

It’s puts me in a normal scrimmage not freestyle

Start in scrimmage, load the custom roster with L3 button, then back out to the 2KU menu without doing anything else and then select freestyle in the 2KU menu. I just tested it and it's still working.
