Barron when using attackers with rockets line up the wing with the enemy tank i usualy have my guns set to 600 and i can easily get 4 kills with just the rockets alone the guns could be better but they are still super effective against the tops of tanks if your good with the guns it can be rewarding but its not as maneuverable as the yak-9t super weapon (100% accurate with all your shots you can kill 30 enemy tanks with just 1 load of ammo) (also the 6 100kg bombs are easy to use in this plane for some reason)
man i hope you can stay aok and i think you should play the t95 american tank. i think it is a good tank for holding down a point on its own. like if you got to a cap point that was very close or if the enemy was spawn camping.

If the Russians had used APCR rounds for their 23mm or 37mm cannons they would have wrecked German tanks pretty hard. I mean they produced a hundred thousand 14.5mm AT rifles that could penetrate more armor then their attack aircrafts :/
attackers are just planes that attacked ground targets NOT exclusively tanks which is the only option in war thunder (thats why il-2 isnt that great but hs 129 is A+) but if they ever add bomblets for planes then russia will earn some serious fire power or the field modification for extra rockets
Иосиф Steelin that is an interesting choice seeing as the allowed Hvap for nazi AA guns which allows them to kill tanks better than there actual tanks... but then they remove the only weapon that makes the il-2 a proper attacker
drillz007 I mean yeah...i think they could even increase a lot IL2s BR if they add PTAB, so that it will be even harder to ground attack since you will meet very capable flak...but then it may be way too OP maybe, a single Il 2 armed with those bombs was able to wipe out an antire tank column....with 30 mm APCR you still have to aim properly...idk, i personally don't approve planes in ground forces battles because it's unfair, it is impossible to rely on allies flak, usually when planes are shot down, in mixed battles, they already released their payload....
Иосиф Steelin well it only takes one person to value the anti air roll and it is pretty much covered for the rest of the team so long as they have a higher fire rate weapon they should do fine... and plane are important for the battles it adds immersion and helps remove campers and spawn killers a good bomber can change the tide of battle and a good fighter can stop that bomber get where i am going?

Solid shells are broken, when they actually DO pen, they do not spall like they should. so you have a single shell punching through the armor, and if you miss a crew member by like a half an inch, they take no damage. on top of that, they pen less for some stupid reason, armor seems to soak the shots, not even bounce.
Whoring yeah im close to get it too, I decided to get the Heavy caernarvon first. it was painful I do say at first, pre-sabot is fucking rage inducing. and VERY expensive, most expensive repair bill of all of tier 4 between all the factions, for a tank that basically a medium tank....

SU-6 is faster, better maneuverability and more rockets, but IL-2 still stronk
