I love all the versatility the L1 brings. I saw a build also using the first blue eyes spirit dragon to go into afd to grab gateway to chaos to search bls and trigger jet in yard. Lots of good stuff in the kitchen.

Don't be. They gave Blue Eyes great support which means they want to make the deck playable and that means they are likely going to do the same with DM. I don't care if dm is meta or not but I'd love to be able to play it at locals and have a chance against newer decks.

I really love Blue-Eyes but these new extra deck monsters are toxic af. Just negating everything your opponent does is part of the problem of whats wrong with yugioh these days. The cool thing about Blue-Eyes used to be being an ATK powerhouse. I would have prefered more protection effects like Jet Dragon, which still allows the opponent to play the game. Might not have been meta, but it doesnt need to be.

Well it adds poly at first summon and lvl 8 at end of turn, think he already had ultimate fusion in hand I could be wrong tho

Unfortunately it doesn't add Blue-Eyes Polymerization to the hand, only Chaos Form, which I didn't use.
Surely With the new trap, Chaos and Chaos MAX Dragon Combo is more better.
