Teaching My Daughter To Ride A Pedal Bike

When your offspring decides that they're all grown up and its time to spread-wing and ride a pedal bike... it's kinda the best thing ever. That's exactly what happened recently with my youngest daughter, Shylee. It's official -- she's all grown up, she doesn't need parents anymore and I can no longer claim her as a dependent. About 5 days after that wing-spreading moment, Trek came through with a fresh ride for the "big kid." No, not me... Shylee got her first "new bike," a Precaliber 16. It was Christmas in April as the Trek Home Delivery sleigh from Pine Mountain Sports here in Bend Oregon came through with a self-isolation approved drop-off on the front door step. Full wipe down and all. Even cooler than a chimney drop-in because it didn't even cost milk OR cookies.
