Hi keith, i have adapted the same concept of using live persons as my multi track to learn parts ,while sight reading is good, i prefer this method because it allows for so much freedom of expression for all the parts and allows for variations on parts even during a live performance.
I absolutely love these practice sessions. I remember thinking how awesome it woulda been if ya'll video taped your rehearsals and recordings of the fab 4 albums. Of course that was before social media where everything is recorded. Keith, would it be possible for you to do one of the easier songs and teach it from beginning to end? I've been performing your songs for years but never thought I would ever see you teaching one. Thanks for your service brother.
Does doing it this way make it easier to to bring in folks that may not be as big on reading music but are great at learning by ear? Or has sight reading always been a bit requirement of being in the group?
Nothing beats old school acappella. Lovely insight
The real teacher Keith Lancaster!! May the LORD continue to bless you and the ministry!!
