The word processing department where I was hired to work for KPMG in Manhattan in the late 1980s was filled with racists. All black people, including the supervisor were black. The supervisor would not give me any work. She would give work only to the black workers. She also deliberately changed the font on a document I was certain was in perfect order because I proof read it numerous times given all the extra time I had to do so. Her racism towards me caused me to lose my job and I happen to be a fair skinned Cuban with European features.
