This version of Alone, Omen 3 sounds so light and weighted simultaneously. When he plays those soft and quick notes in the beginning, it feels like you're dangling your feet off of a small cliff, feeling like the wind could pick you up any minutes. Then, as he sings and plays louder and fuller chords, you feel a shadow overcast you, and the air gets a bit tighter. The studio version is a great variation, but this version is so nuanced and defined. Definitely wish he went into this route with the album, but I'm glad to know he has the capability. I'm originally from Warrington and moved to London when I was 18 to follow my dream of being a Film Director. In 2020 I began listening to King Krule. His and the band's music pretty much got me through Lockdown and made me feel at ease. He very quickly became my favourite artist and is to this day. I've never related more to, not just a piece of music, but to a piece of art. The sonic landscapes he creates, especially in this album, sounded so familiar. In winter 2020 I was listening to a podcast he was on, he begins talking about Man Alive! and his life and then I find out he's living to and from London and Warrington, writing part of this album in the North West. The stretching power lines surround my village, the grey clouds never leave the sky, and the power station above is right by my home - it's silhouette defines my childhood. Man Alive! sounds so weirdly relatable for me because it sonically captures the very truth of this town. That's why Archy and the band are such geniuses and will forever be my biggest inspirations - They perfectly translate emotions and feelings of something completely abstract into something entirely tangible. The level of artistic nuance is almost frightening. Absolutely loving Space Heavy, loved the London show this year and thanks for making me feel at home no matter where I am in the world.

I’m diggin how there is almost a psychedelic emphasis on different sounds in this recording. At times it sounds static and foggy and then it clarifies and clears in moments he really wants you to listen. Beautiful!
When this came out in November My ex and I would listen to this constantly anticipating the new Archy record, I have the record and It hurts to listen to the album recorded versions now, The memories of her are too much to handle sometimes but I love King Krule:(
Try not to listen to archy in a way that you think of your ex man, archy makes his music for himself and probably wants you and others to see your own worth etc through his music as you listen rather than attach something painful to it, it gets better and I’m sure you’ve realised it now 7 months later :)
i’ve been going through a lot death in my family recently, and so much stress has been really getting to my mental health. Safe to say this gives me hope.

My heart just skipped a beat. Then I ran to my brothers house to show this to him, the expression on his face was priceless. Then we decided to take the day off and spend it together listening to the king and similar...thanks for this amazing day Archy!
The imagery, the transitions, the late day sunset mood, the wavy guitar, background noises, setting, lofi quality, and beautiful wavy guitar and ambient punchy synth all help make this video such a big cohesive masterpiece.

I thought the same thing! I think he’s happier. He’s a father now and while I know that wouldn’t cure depression, it seems like it’s a good thing for him. He’s smiling more in his pictures/being cheerful but archy is so private it’s hard to fully know for sure.
@@uniqlofleece yeah I know, I could literally hear it and to some extent I could relate to it.

lyrics :
you're my everything
make me feel alright
you're the only thing
makes me feel alright
you're my everything
make me feel alright
you're the only thing
i never feel alright
i guess i have to go
and in my silence
it's so menacing
and when i'm left alone
it's so damaging
and in my violence
the war is caving
i'm not able
to escape it all
'cause you're my everything, i have no words
and you're the only thing who makes life worth
thought i had everything, but it's not worth
thought i had everything
another lonely night
another lonely night
another lonely night
and you're my everything
you make me feel alright
you're the only thing
that makes me feel just fine
you're my everything
make me feel alright
you're my everything, girl
i guess i have to go
i guess i have to go, girl
i guess i have to go, girl
i guess i have to go, girl
i guess i have to go, girl
venus wow thanks!
I really like hearing, "'Cause you're my everything, I've no words. And you're the only thing that makes life work. Thought I had everything, but it's no world. Thought I had everything" gonna be hard scraping that variant out of my head after I had this vid on loop since 4 am
@@kll501 do you not have google? lol
@@MoKone5 i guess it's just more handy having the lyrics on your screen the same time the song plays. Some people are lazy and yeah phones really cant open two windows or tabs at once and have them on the screen
.... sigh
i wish that i was more into king krule when this came out. i've been exploring his music much more since this pandemic started and its been so helpful to me. i don't feel so alone when i listen to archy sing :) when this came out i only knew baby blue, rock bottom, and easy easy... a little sad honestly, but iv'e found so much more and i've found comfort in his music.
"Hey World!"
Howdy, pal.
Honestly I don't really need to listen to anything else except this dude
This vid has 1.1 mil views which is nuts, but I feel like it’s the same few people watching it 50 times
i can say that i am one of those
I’ve watched it hundreds of times it sounds like how my sadness feels
ive been waiting for 300 years
What have I just seen??? Is this real?? It is midnight here. Thanks a lot. I will finish my paper while listening to this... please come to South Korea one day :)
Good luck on that paper!
Fighting!

He’s on the phone with god
Nah he's on the phone with the CEO of racism, did you see the anger in his eyes?
Get god on the phone !
How’s he on the phone with himself?
Peach fuzz
He's on the phone with ya mama
Damn...a year already ??? hope all is well to whoever is reading this.
i hope the same for you
Energy fleets is the most beautiful song
Vaelencis Lovecraft it’s even better on the album 😍
Danjee P I must get the album!!!!
Performance and visuals are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I find myself coming back to this years later and still can’t describe the feeling I get while experiencing these performances.
Word to self
Things will get better with time.
Just what I needed this morning.
Been waiting for the king to come back

alone, omen 3
lyrics :
take a dip, dear love, take your time
take a ticket, take the train to the end of the line
see where you can go, expend it, it's plastic, do or die
but flip it, think about it, you'll do just fine, girl
these things will come and go
deep in the metropole, girl
throw a stone, see it land, get a spline
draw a line in the sand between your thighs
just to see which way you go
you've got this, you believe you'll be your own
but i brew it, consume it, then let it go, girl
don't forget you're not alone
deep in the metropole
the ache and thunder in the storms of your mind
soak it in, the rain will pass in time
nothing wrong in sinking low
you're the omen to paradise
you're the ghost they put aside, girl
but don't forget you're not alone
sometimes you're stretched
but don't forget you're not alone
sometimes you're stretched
every minute, every second, you're not alone, you're not alone
sometimes you're stretched, sometimes you're stretched, girl
but don't forget you're not alone
don't forget you're not alone, girl
sometimes you're stretched
don't forget you're not alone
don't forget you're not alone, girl
everyone must know
don't forget you're not alone
sometimes you're stretched
sometimes you're stretched
but don't forget you're not alone
everyone must know
don't forget you're not alone, girl
sometimes you're stretched
don't forget you're not alone
and i love you, and i love you, and i love-

Clearly dedicated to his daughter 😢

forget its flight* instead of 'get a spline'
its a krule world indeed
11:44 to 12:26
those fireworks and then the transition music are so intense, seems ethereal
It's funny. I feel more alone when he says "don't forget you're not alone"
Yeah.
it makes me feel kinda hopeful
Yeah i think we he starts repeating it over and over more its more manic and hes trying to force himself to think that like how a therapist would do
Nation Marshall That’s how I feel about it too
Lonely but rich
this is home
about this time every year i get back into archy a lot, i think it has something to do with the way things are starting to get colder and the sky turns grey
me too. it just feels right
yea
In a way his music delivers comfort and warmth during these harsh times whether it’s the season or the virus :)
reading the comments here makes me feel comfortable. there aren´t many places left that do this , these days. keep on.
Can we take a second to talk about how beautifully filmed this is, the places match perfectly with the music
I’m diggin how there is almost a psychedelic emphasis on different sounds in this recording. At times it sounds static and foggy and then it clarifies and clears in moments he really wants you to listen. Beautiful!
When this came out in November My ex and I would listen to this constantly anticipating the new Archy record, I have the record and It hurts to listen to the album recorded versions now, The memories of her are too much to handle sometimes but I love King Krule:(
Me too Martin, me too. I just try to listen to him and focus only on him when I do. Eventually, the memories stop being so overwhelming
Try not to listen to archy in a way that you think of your ex man, archy makes his music for himself and probably wants you and others to see your own worth etc through his music as you listen rather than attach something painful to it, it gets better and I’m sure you’ve realised it now 7 months later :)
it's the shortest 15 mins of my life, and yet I feel like every time I listen to it, it has the power to carry me through the next few months.
this is amazin, it feels like a wintertime, but for the soul.
It's like as if you had a conversation with a friend who feels as bad as you do. And I mean bad.
i’ve been going through a lot death in my family recently, and so much stress has been really getting to my mental health. Safe to say this gives me hope.
victor v don’t forget you’re not alone
This version of Energy Fleets and the studio version are almost different songs and I love them both
Archy, you are everything
paulisthelegend haven’t seen u in the comments for years dargg
This makes me feel so much, yet so little. It’s weird. Like at peace with everything, but I still get in my feelings. Thanks Archy. I and many others will always come back to this.
I can't fathom the words to describe this beauty.
RemyVonLion nice way of putting it ...I just can’t understand what he’s saying but that was very articulate
It's almost a scary joy, like I don't want to focus on it too much or I might get hurt somehow
Austin Starke bro.. ur so right
Been holding a lot in recently n this just pust me at ease, almost cried even...
“You didn’t come into this world. You came out of it, like a wave from the ocean. You are not a stranger here.” - Alan Watts
Thanks for helping me get thru today, and in general
Same here

My heart just skipped a beat. Then I ran to my brothers house to show this to him, the expression on his face was priceless. Then we decided to take the day off and spend it together listening to the king and similar...thanks for this amazing day Archy!
The imagery, the transitions, the late day sunset mood, the wavy guitar, background noises, setting, lofi quality, and beautiful wavy guitar and ambient punchy synth all help make this video such a big cohesive masterpiece.
5:54 that guitar tone... i wonder how sounds so nostalgic, like the sound of an old radio. Warms my heart, it really does.
Also Energy Fleets gotta be the most beautiful thing i've heard this year
I use to listen to king krule so hard. He really helped me through high school.
Me too honestly. 6 feet came out when I was a freshman in high school. And the ooz while I was a freshman in college.
