Mattel should totally send Melissa more color reveal PR. I didn’t care much for the color reveal series but she’s totally right when it comes to gift ideas. I so getting these for my nieces!

Still not great quality, i wish the mermaid tail wasn't just a solid color on the back, but I think these mermaid dolls are still way better than the other color reveal dolls.
I think the rooted hair definitely helps but Barbie as a doll line has just gone down so much in quality. Like the tail could be prettier

Yay mermaid I can't wait to hear what you think of the green paint. I loved it. Just as much as Blue :) oh wow I think I got mine off walmart and the mermaid was in a huge blind bag so amazon must be different. Can you believe my daughter completed a family in this series. She was over the moon excited. We got the Chelsea from Amazon I think and then the Barbie and pet from walmart. We got the family with the panda mer pet. So cute. yes I love the tails too such an awesome surprise. My daughter keeps the pet, chelsea color reveal mermaid and barbie mermaid in the bathtub. So much fun. I love the dark eyebrows with the white hair. Adorable dimples in the cheeks too. Some walmarts in store have the mer pets and mermaid color reveal Chelsea ones but I haven't seen the barbie ones yet.
Sooooo.....the next one is very different!

Ngl I’m pretty sure that colour reveal paint is just metallic poster colour paint. I have a diy snow globe thingy and we put metallic gold pain in it we made it back in 2016 and it still does the swirly swishy thingy now

I wish these existed when I was a kid. Early 90s, Little Mermaid, mermaids were en vogue. I even wore pillowcases on my legs pretending to be a merboy. Can't wait to get these!
My Wal-Mart had the mermaid pets but they only had four different ones. I still need the kitten one. You'll like them too because they are covered in the color reveal paint this time.

one thing I noticed with the ones I have is that the facial color stays on unless I actively warm the dolls. I don't have a very cold living space, sometimes it's downright hot, but the only times I can make the color disappear are when I hold them to my computer vent for a minute....
The water is super pretty though.

These are beautiful, but I hate that they can't sit. I know I say this every time, but it really bothers me. Lol the guns are amazing and make me think of the Mermaid Barbie and Fountain Mermaid Barbie from the 90s.

The Mermaids are so adorable and...as you said...no ugly wig! They are really gorgeous for smaller ones who don't need the better quality yet. And i'm so in love with the teal water, it's my absolute favorite color! So maybe, when all Rainbow High girls were able to move i (i have Sunny in front of me and she is sooooo beautiful) in ^^ i will buy one for me, just for myself to stick her into the water and keep it afterwards. Love this Colour Reveal Mermaid Barbie, the metallic paint and water look amazing and her icy colour tail and theme is cool. Her tail is interesting how it isn't the hard plastic, would definitely buy some of these dolls. I haven't been on here lately as I have been moving into a new house, is a crazy stressful mission moving everything and all my doll collection. Have a lot to sort out lol 😂 and a few vids and things on social media to catch up on. Looking forward to getting back to normal again. Your nails look awesome, Love your review 😍💖💙
