Perfect marriages or relationships aren't real; each one is different. What makes one person content might not make another person content. But I've discovered that there's always a solution to every problem. Five years ago, my wife and I were facing divorce because of issues in our marriage, but we managed to resolve them. It was challenging, but we made it through.
I genuinely want to be happy as well. I'm in a relationship, and even though we're apart, I can't think of life without her; my love for her is solid. I really want her back, and I'm committed to making it work. We've tried different things, like therapy, to mend things.
Learning to let someone you love go is always a tough journey, but in my case, I had the wisdom of a spiritual mentor who kept my marriage from crumbling. Her name is Suzanne Ann Walters.
I appreciate your direction. I'll swiftly look her up online. Thanks. I'm hopeful that following this course of action will bring about positive changes for me too; her absence is deeply felt.
How exactly could the ex feel betrayed? Lucy had an affair, Lucy destroyed the family, Lucy burned all her bridges. Lucy nearly destroyed her own son’s wedding just to make everyone miserable bc she was and is miserable. These people are horrible and selfish, just horrible.
As a 73 year old man I know that the average guy.AVERAGE guy really knows what his wife thinks of him. He knows what she tells him. But guess what? Women lie . The statement that he was a loser, isn't unusual.
He asks, "have you ever experienced betrayal"? Yes I have, not only once, and there is no feeling like it. To trust someone and find they are untrustworthy is a reel shock. Then to have it happen over and over makes a guy realize he is to trusting to everyone and has to change to a suspicious soul even when it's not your nature changes the way you look at everyone. It sucks .
truth, those of us who have lived it understand.... i have being suspicious of near everybody and everything, but its better then the alternative... when you come to expect betrayal rather than loyalty... you have become an adult in the modern era.
30 years destroyed in just 1hr of a guy whispering lies to her. She’s not as beautiful as she was 30 years ago but still want to believe its still true. Guys should never allow their wife or gf be alone with another guy because of temptation and how women are so weak emotionally
A person who cheated once will cheat again, faithful people will always be faithful Honestly, such moments are the best opportunities to check what kind of person you are hanging out with.
I had a guy who keep asking me for a chance even when I was with my ex at that time. And after my break up he approached me but I rejected him. Like.. who will trust a guy hitting a girl who is already in a relationship. Only a stupid people will fall for such person.
Preemptively ruining your marriage by making yourself your spouse's jailor isn't going to prevent sorrow. You just have to hope the person you love and cherish will make correct decisions, and if they don't, move on like the OP in this story did and find love somewhere else. What you describe doing might have preserved his marriage, but it wouldn't have been a loving one and what's the point of that? The OP did everything he should have done, at every stage of this saga and that's why his kids respect and love him and he found love again.
The stick of Karma and consequences rarely come lubed. Lucy deserved everything that she endured. Throwing away your family for a sleezeball because of cheap thrills, only confiding because she got caught, became sick because she was a coward and wouldn't the tell the truth that she made sexual relations with her stalker, lied to her family, tried to go back to her AP for a relationship, controlling her kids and attempted to make her son's wedding about herself. All in her 50s after 3 decades of having a family that many dream of. Even streets won't claim her and i agree with OP. Lucy isn't someone who he thought she was all these years. She's a 304 who hid her true identity like a sociopath.
Rick is what we men call "a snake in the grass", he's always lurkin'. He'll not stop 'til he gets your woman. Be wise, forward thinking, and safe brothers.
Thrill is temporary, but consequences are forever. Also there is a possibility that she came clean only because Nancy caught them in the act and she knew that sooner or later OP will find out
So she cheats, only confesses because she got caught in the act, and then did self harm to emotionally manipulate a reunion. All of this has the hallmark of a weak and stupid woman that might have learned a painful lesson. But after she begged her affair partner for more when divorce came and went, she lost all respect. This was never a mistake. She made a cold and calculated decision to have both men in her life. And she never wanted to choose. She felt entitled to both, even after seeing the pain she caused her family. She's her own worst enemy, and needs to accept that.
Worst part is all the things op thought about Rick were probably lies that Lucy pushed for. He believed them for he was much more similar to Rick than he admits. She probably said similar things to Rick about how big of a loser and creep her husband was. They both idolized Lucy when in actuality she was never worth either of their time. Rick world realized this when she slept with him. His view of her would shatter the moment he realized she cheated on her hubby and he was sleeping with the real Lucy. While the Hubbies was shattered when he found out he cheated. I always find it funny how both men involved tend to frame the other as evil when they are just being used as playthings by the woman two timing.
The more i watch and read these reddit stories, the more i confirm thaflt i want to be single for life. Fuck going through the heartbreak, the anguish of divorce. Especially if one might cheat on you, in this day and age is highly likely.
Only a daughter would jump to thinking the father was cheating solely as her belief😂 at least the son had some common decency to not jump to conclusions out the gate before the father told him😂😂 that part was funny to me. In the back of my king I was like “ohh wait til she finds out it was the mother!!!”
In her defense, he kept his own daughter in the dark for so long instead of telling her the truth of why he left the house, so that was on him, not his daughter. I actually respect his daughter for putting her mother in her place, acting like a jealous wife during the weeding when she no longer had that right anymore
“It was a blow to her ego, seeing how I had moved on so quickly while she remains single” First, it’s been four years. Second, she practically begged the mofo that she cheated with to be with her only to be rejected Chick had no intention to remain single, she was just too miserable & self pitying to pursue anyone else.
File for divorce tell your kids the truth block your wife out of everything start over don't think about the what ifs don't feel weak keep your head up and move forward as fast as possible
I can never understand the psychology behind this. She cheated on her 30 year old relationship instantly just because of beautiful lies and ended up crying and being depressed for the rest of life because her husband left her. Why would you cheat if you love your husband so much? Just why?
Karma got her back, her Affair partner used her for fun and throw her away like she thrown away her 30+ marriage. Why would AP get her back in 55+ when he isnt looking for anything serious.... He can hav much younger women for a fling now.
Regardless of their ages, never lie to your children or try to sugar coat the truth. They are going to need to be tough to survive in this world and they might as well learn the truth about their mother and her choices. Knowing this truth will most certainly devastate them but they and your wife need to understand that these are all of the consequences of her choices.
She really did not love her husband or, better still, not in love with him. She cheated too quickly with the AP at the party. After 26 years of marriage, she gave in that easily to the AP. I would have to divorce her. I would never want to be around her anymore. I do not wish to care for her if she ever got sick. Also, I would not let her take care of me if I was ill, nor would I want her to take care of me or even allow it to happen. I would have no trust in her. In addition, the husband shows signs of weakness throughout the marriage. This is probably why the wife could easily cheat and hope for forgiveness.
I just don't understand a cheater's mind. Seriously, for me, it's like seeing a person pouring water on the cereal instead of milk. I am in a LDR, we have been together for three years, and have seen each other less than 10 times. Yet, he remains faithful, and so do I, I truly see no interest in other people, and nurture the beautiful relationship I have with my Sun. I just, don't get it, to throw everything you have built and nurture and loved for YEARS, for a meaningless moment.
I'm truly sorry to hear about everything you've been through. It's clear you loved Lucy deeply, and navigating these emotions must be incredibly tough. Remember to focus on your well-being and take it one day at a time. You deserve peace and happiness moving forward.
Yeah, if you are a sane normal person you can't stay once you have been betrayed. If you stay, you will never accept the betrayal and it will only keep you from healing and instead the betrayal will infect you and cause you to suffer further emotional harm. Usually you become bitter, angry and stressed.
Growing up, I didn’t always understand the importance of family. But now, as I’ve experienced life’s ups and downs, I realize how much their love and support have shaped me. Family is a safe harbor in a stormy world, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the people who’ve been with me through it all.

It's baffling to me is how she fell for his lies even at that age .What i can make of this is lucy loved her husband but at that age she doesn't get the sexual attention from her husband like it's their first time it's a fact and rick bombarded her with beautiful lies they wouldn't have been believable for her if they're coming from a random stranger but rick having an interest in her since college days made her think that he still sees her as the woman in her college days and she quickly got folded and wanted to experience being young and desired again and thought that it's the last time she might feel desired again, of course if she wasn't caught by nancy she would've kept it a secret and consider screwing rick again or buried the truth as it's only a one time thing. She realised how much she fucked up after the consequences hit her and she ended up in a turmoil of the saying "i wish i could go back and change everything" and after the divorce is finalised and op is not coming back she quickly went back to rick as he is the second option and rick treated her like she's the second option for hum too. If a man tries to screw you even after knowing that you're married he is also probably not looking for a long term relationship he was just there only for quick bang bang.
Tbh at that point it doesn't matter; he's already done with her, the kids are done with her and finding out his only family isn't related to him would only hurt & alienate him at an age where he's unlikely to have more kids. It's rare, but sometimes belief is better than confirmation.

She folded over some kind words. Pathetic.
it's a fake story
You’d be surprised how many people cheat for complements, thrills, boredom and the chance to try out a big new dick..
Where is the calling him a loser part? I listened to this whole thing
Click bait.
hope channel owner knows i reported them
She cheated then lied to you. You don't owe her anything.
He seems like a really good guy with morals and self-respect.
Nah bro, you did the right thing don't let anyone gaslight you!
Lucy clearly lost his mind, never acknowledged what she done… how she treat their kids is proven how she is not really realized her actions she was catalyst for her loneliness… try to control is like putting blame on others
I bet Lucy is going to regret cheating on op when she realizes that Rick doesn't care about her and was just using her
You didn't finish the story have you? Because thats exactly what happens.
The fact this guy was simping for her for decades is peak pathetic.
Where's the Simping part. Do you charlatans even know what Simping means?
I promise you will not regret it
You're one of the rare couples. But I just have to say that sometimes the correct solution is divorce.
It sure can be, but then you realize you can backstab them back.
30 years destroyed in just 1hr of a guy whispering lies to her. She’s not as beautiful as she was 30 years ago but still want to believe its still true. Guys should never allow their wife or gf be alone with another guy because of temptation and how women are so weak emotionally
A person who cheated once will cheat again, faithful people will always be faithful
Honestly, such moments are the best opportunities to check what kind of person you are hanging out with.
Yea but then again they had 30 yr marriage and both are 55+ yrs... Surely you won't expect cheating while you are at the same event within 30 mins.
He never did a DNA test.
You had to friend zone ,marry ,house her when all Rick had to do was compliment her .😢😮#Do you hear me Major Tom?😢
In his Twilight years and still getting cheated on...
She dug her grave now she'll lay in it
The stick of Karma and consequences rarely come lubed.
I have always thought that there is a huge difference between a woman and a lady. There is a certain line that ladies won't cross.
Does the Love of your Life usually call you a Loser? 😂 So your wife can say and do anything to make the other man happy.
Rick is what we men call "a snake in the grass", he's always lurkin'. He'll not stop 'til he gets your woman. Be wise, forward thinking, and safe brothers.
it's a fake story
Worse is the fact she knew it was her husbands rival. That's insane. No man especially wants to deal with that.
I always find it funny how both men involved tend to frame the other as evil when they are just being used as playthings by the woman two timing.
it's a fake story
Forgiveness doesn't mean allowing youself to be a door mat
This guy saying we're thinking he's heartless halfway through the video, but like bruh, never once doubted ole boy's character
You did the right thing by walking away. She didn’t deserve you! 💔
This is a very good story. Thank you for uploading this! 😀
Excellent dad with awesome children! No comment when it comes to Lucy.
The more i watch and read these reddit stories, the more i confirm thaflt i want to be single for life. Fuck going through the heartbreak, the anguish of divorce. Especially if one might cheat on you, in this day and age is highly likely.
She always wanted to cheat and she did. When woman say he is a jerk it means he is the toxic guy for me.
Some women truly are agents of chaos.
Bro is maturity as a person.
“It was a blow to her ego, seeing how I had moved on so quickly while she remains single”
First, it’s been four years.
Second, she practically begged the mofo that she cheated with to be with her only to be rejected
Chick had no intention to remain single, she was just too miserable & self pitying to pursue anyone else.
“During my visit to Tokyo…” I love that for OP
Dude is too nice I feel bad for him. Like bro always apologies when he updates us acting like he is obligated to.
First one in a while that actually sounds real.
Rick ran that 1980s game and strong armed dude's chic.
Vicious. Don't ignore snakes in the grass just because they're green.
Just why?
I've seen a lot of stories of unfaithful wives and their subsequent divorce. Lucy out of all these deserved at least an attempt at reconciliation.
Isn't it the same.. every cheater makes it as a mistake and make so many excuses like its alcohol...
.
.
.
Cheating isnt a mistake !!
Karma got her back, her Affair partner used her for fun and throw her away like she thrown away her 30+ marriage.
Why would AP get her back in 55+ when he isnt looking for anything serious.... He can hav much younger women for a fling now.
These kinds of stories I can't even finish hearing them, I know the outcome ain't gonna be good and this almost makes me sick.
He probably punished her in the most CRUEL way a man could punish a woman.
And he didint even mean to lol😂😂
Boys being boys 😅😂 @@gamingevolvedkg30
She really did not love her husband or, better still, not in love with him. She cheated too quickly with the AP at the party. After 26 years of marriage, she gave in that easily to the AP. I would have to divorce her. I would never want to be around her anymore. I do not wish to care for her if she ever got sick. Also, I would not let her take care of me if I was ill, nor would I want her to take care of me or even allow it to happen. I would have no trust in her. In addition, the husband shows signs of weakness throughout the marriage. This is probably why the wife could easily cheat and hope for forgiveness.
He loved her not weak smh
Wait….when did she call him a loser? It’s in the title but I don’t remember ever hearing it said in the story.
You can hold onto the past and live in misery.
Accept and move on from the past so that you can start your new awaited life.
There was no need to hear that dude out. She knew what he thought and wanted. She chose give into this knowing she was risking her whole life. Consequences.
Every1 is different bud and you handled it as best as you could and every1 handles things differently
How did dude text him when they got married? They didn't hardly have texting 26 years ago?.🤔🤨
I always find it hilarious when guys act a bit simpish by asking questions in relation to their partner cheating on them; did you guys kiss, how long did it last, where'd you guys do it, how many times - who gives a Shi*. Divorce the b**** and move on with your life
Lmao right????? Like who needs the details. She cheated so divorce her ass
Honestly the way the OP handled somethings almost made me more angry than the cheater. I get that he’s 60+ and he’s probably doesn’t want to deal with this but jheez, no backbone at all. I believe when he said if she coulda talked to him, than she probably could’ve convinced him to take her back.
@@domlop9278 YUP 1000% the fact his backbone is so nonexistent he knew he couldn’t see her face to face in the divorce proceedings is telling lmao I mean at least he divorced but come on dude that’s sad af lmao
I mean he's 60. Romantically he's likely not getting anyone else. I've read that after 35 men and women lose 75% of their romantic appeal
@@flexjohnson18, wait, romantic _appeal,_ or _desire?_ I ask because from what I've seen, it's appeal for women, but desire for men.
That Rick guy was a real POS. He couldn't get over her after 35 years! He ruined that family!
Why do people always victimize the cheater? Im alsorry she went into depression, but she did it.
Went through the same. I was with my ex for 12 years, owned a house, 2 dogs, 2 kids, and a paid off vehicles before i was 30. She cheated on me with her coworker. We weren’t married though.
We separated. She married the coworker, but are having marital issues.
My wife found me, and helped me fix what was broken. We’re happily married for 6 years now, and looking to purchase a vacation house internationally. How life works itself out.
Your story is phrased confusingly.
@@C0wb0yBebop he meant his new wife
As if she knew exactly how he felt about her and she went anyway knowing something was going to happen. Was she that naive i don't think so plus the alcohol just made her more bold in what she wanted to do.
She should have kept her mouth shut but couldn't because her friend caught her she wasn't ashamed that she did it she was ashamed that she got caught that's what she is really mad about.
In the words of Owlman. "It does matter." Godspeed, sir.
When u put her on a pedestal n simp over a woman who never treated u likewise. The fact he was willing to 4give cheating he str8 goofy
He didn't forgive cheating. You gotta listen to it before forming an opinion. He just said he wanted to move on from it all. He loved her before he found out about everything and believed her to be a good person, not a manipulative evil individual.
He's a good person. A bit of a push over, but he still knows and has his own dignity, he just doesn't like seeing people hurt. He stood up for his self respect. He's a good man in my book
@Ghost1170 this story is obviously fake and it's usually written by women. The husbands in these stories are always written as a weak gullible morons and unfortunately naive men gravitate towards those weak qualities that you wrote. I only listen to 14 mins and I'm having a hard time listening to the rest especially now that I know he has that "lets not hurt ppl feeling mentality".
@@Ghost1170Definitely a pushover. Who lets another man whisper in your woman’s ear secretively and then decides “oh all green flags around here!” “I can forget about them with confidence and relax!”. I would never say its his fault but I can nearly say that he just let it happen.
@@domlop9278 Specially a man that everyone KNOWS always had a crush on your wife, right after making her uncomfortable, like what the f*ck?
The wife is still at fault tho, who throws away a decade long marriage soon after a few compliments? Very weak willed.
@Ghost1170 a bit of a push over? That's a simp
Shes mad he moved on after their divorce, giiiiiirl you moved on DURING the marriage
Women never change and they are their own worst enemies.
He should test his children for paternity. Ive seen an ideal wive living with a husband to this day heart to heart though i know with whom she cheated multiple times continuously
Shame on you for not telling him even anonymously.
@@tomallen8296 i do not like him because of his arrogance sometimes.
@@za_ozero True! two of my cousins, their maternal uncle, Brian, has that kind of demeanor about him as well.
Confession time: Brian was getting annoyed that his wife was making passes at me while I was seated between her and my aunt, Nushi - she kept "accidentally" brushing her breasts against my leg mid-conversation. He was seated directly across from me and beside his son. I wouldn't be surprised if Chantel and Rachel's cousin felt mortified at his mother's behaviour at the table.
@@MetalSStar196 Wait a minute... She kept brushing her breast against your LEG whilst you were seated beside her..? How did she do that !? 😂 Because in my mind, the only way to imagine it is really and suspiciously explicit 🤣
@@za_ozero Yet he deserves to know, do the right thing please!
She got better quickly once she realized there was no more hope of him coming back after he learned the whole truth. Also, as someone else stated, she only broke down and told him that night because she got caught and was afraid her friend would tell.
At the beginning, he said it’s the love of his life that just means until she finds better or you catcher.
Your better half is a 304 ground.. control to Major Tom.😮😅
It's fkng annoying that how people who did wrong things go to therapy and make it like they are suffering more than the person who is actually suffering because of them.
Letting the love of my life fall into such a state. Destroying her physical and emotional state. Putting the weight on my children to deal with that. Imagine not having the ability to communicate to the "love of your life" because of betrayal. Its sad to see what men's mentality has fallen into. Especially since he doesnt even want a physical connection. Literally makes his whole actions/reasoning pointless. He could have found peace easily. He just didnt want to do it with his partner.
This is a very important tale!
I am the only one feeling something wierd when you lisent how the cheating occured? It’s an unsettling feeling and it feels just… bad
Had a similar betrayal. And I'm also in my 40 seconds as well.
That is 33 years of his life wasted, dont repeat his mistakes guys
Situation well dealt with.
Where did Lucy call her husband a loser?
Click bait
When she was talking to rick around the time nancy caught her in the act
Something tells me it's not the first time she cheated, just this was the first time she got caught by her friend
@@marcus6775 nope. My automatic assumption is if she's American and has a vagina then trust is something they'll never get I only trust their actions and how I respond to them
I was wondering the same thing.
Dude was in the friend zone before she started dating his simp azz!😢😮
Even my dogs prefer the toy that others are playing with
Bro, quickly have DNA tests with your two kids...Rick might be their biological father 😂
Tbh at that point it doesn't matter; he's already done with her, the kids are done with her and finding out his only family isn't related to him would only hurt & alienate him at an age where he's unlikely to have more kids.
It's rare, but sometimes belief is better than confirmation.
When you married Lucy and Rick texted you that was a declaration of war and from that moment nothing was off the table
The title of this video is click bait. Nowhere does the ex-wife call the husband a loser. Pretty disgusting when a channel puts garbage like this in a title just for views. There are folks out here who’ve had this said about them by their spouses and significant others and if the channel wanted to post a story about that, there are lots to choose from.
The fact that they liked your comment after calling them out on their bs😂😂
Dude, i tought she would hate Rick after the divorce, but she was heartbroken when he ghosted her???? What the fuck, she betrayed his husband with him and she felt sad when he ghosted her, dude, i want to die
This is exactly what happens when a guy gets friend zoned and "pursues", even if he gets her, she's inevitably going to cheat because she's not sexually attracted.
