I’ll always love smite 1. So many memories. It was there in the best and happiest times of my life, and the saddest and worst times too. It’s my most played game by far and it will always be special to me.

Yeah I’d just much rather play smite 1 when it’s free and has more content than an unfinished alpha with limited content. Just more fun in smite 1
I find it so weird how hi rez is handling the transition from smite 1 to smite 2 like its gonna be so long before smite 2 catches up in content but it feels like smite 1 is essentially abandoned idk

I like smite 2, but the lack of characters just holds it back so much, id very much be ok with some smite 1 content in the meantime
I'm not gonna bother with smite 2 until next year, I'd imagine they should have a large amount of gods added by then.
I'll still be playing Smite 1 till I can Diamond all the Gods. Last 70 Gods are all between Rank 8-9 (Some almost 10)
Probably won't mess with Smite 2 Alpha too much till it has close to 50 Gods and they're in Beta. I like me some variety

State of smite 1 has been pretty bad, as someone who only has time to play a game or two every few days it feels like a waste of time when every lobby is full of dcs and toxic players who are unafraid of reports
I think Smite 2's issue stems from Hirez listening/trying to appeal to the wrong audience. A lot of the update around the new patch is bringing in content from Smite 1 rather than doing something new with the map. Also imo the balancing this patch has been too drastic. I thought Alpha 1 was fairly balanced aside from the stacking items, crit build, and some gods. I think the god balance in Alpha 2 is fine, but the item balancing was all over the place. If they nerfed the crit chance on Musashi and death bringer so you're not getting 70% crit chance with 3 items and instead get 50% crit chance, would've left the build viable and allowed the new spectral armor passive to be a viable counter. I thought leviathan's hide was already a very good item if not one of the best tank options that helped with the crit build and did not need to be touched.
Yo the Black ops 6 beta was actually super duper fun! If you go fallout. I’d recommend starting with Fallout: 3. Most ppl will tell you New Vegas is the best. F that, 3 is the best
Have you considered playing space marine 2? And if single player is more your thing astro bot seems really good
i mean i did uninstall smite 1 but i somehow had more fun in smite 1 than smite 2 thats why i like since 24/7 alpha release i only played 10 games
It's a shame that smite 1's best changes in years came because smite 2 was coming, would've been fun to want to plau smite 1, as it is now, for longer.. nice to see some gameplay of it though man 👍🏻

Which is the least important part of a game. I don't care about the shadows on the leaves. Variety matters, gameplay matters.

S1 doomers have made S2 less unique by need S2 to be more like S1. i really hope they make some more interesting changes, i think keeping things similar is great but we dont need it to be the same. people will get burnt out of both if S2 is too much like S1
What i want most is new truly unique and interesting god kits that they couldnt do before on the old engine. Like a real minion character, real turret character, a ranged character that needs to reload their basics, maybe a character like abathur from hots. SO many kits they could copy from other games that havent been done yet. hecate and mordred while having somewhat interesting ults are pretty samey to things we've seen before.

I don't have access to Smite 2, so I'm sticking with Smite 1. I've played enough early access games lately to know that they aren't worth my full attention yet anyway.
Im interested in smite 1 for at least another year. Content wise smite 2 just isnt there yet. Especially content wise I get bored of it. I would watch every smite 1 video you upload lol since so many people moved on. I predict people will go back soon until smite 2 has like double the gods.

smite 1 servers are so messed up, that's why people are leaving matches that often. I don't wanna believe that's on purpose to make people migrate to smite 2 forcibly but...

I'm not gonna play smite 2 for a hot minute but I do have a question. If i buy it now do I get an Alpha icon? I got the Smite Beta one and now I want the Smite 2 Alpha as well lmao. I'm willing to pay just for that. I'm probably not going to play until some more gods that I like are released.
Still playing smite 1, games are very on and off again in casual.
One game I can drop 15+ kills or multiple teammates drop 15+ then the next game I get steam rolled or people rage quit.
It seems like there's a mix of very new players and just veteran players. No in between lol its either you steam roll or get steam rolled
Im at the crossroads between both smites. Loving Smite 2 and looking forward to it's future, but it is still clearly in alpha(as it says). Besides Im still missing too many gods atm like Sun Wukong.
Until dot damage and crit is reworked. Life steal is buffed. I’ll be sticking to smite 1
Yeah you're right on the money saying s2 feels too similar to s1, Its lack of content makes playing it feel redundant, just play the first game with 6x more god options and if we're talking new gods its like 70x more content. Definitely gotta start being more unique
It’s not worth paying the money for smite 2 yet. Plain and simple. It’s got a lonngggg way to go before I will say the game shouldn’t just be free.

on one hand it's cool hirez is involving the fans who are clearly enjoying it, on the other hand smite 2 is their biggest promotional tool currently and they are showing it off at a poor unstable state, i do not believe any "new" player would be impressed by smite 2 as it is
When Smite 2 hits open beta, I'll be keen to jump in and play but paying for the right to test a company's alpha is always a bit questionable for me

Ive been saying it since they announced smite 2 killing the pro league for a year and abandoning smite 1 was such a bad move.

I think the worst mistake they made with smite 2 is the god pool. Most of the gods are boring af. They should make a massive poll about the most fun gods and release them in smite 2

@@rizztraininghamster You realize 2 new gods are coming out every 3 weeks right? If they set their priorities right and ppl are willing to at least be a bit patient, it will be fine.
Also, its entirely subjective what gods are considered fun. They cant please everyone. But while youre at it, at least mention the gods. Just saying the currently available gods are boring doesnt give them anything to work with.
@@p.8967 Sylvanus, Janus, Geb, nezha, Ra, Vulcan, Hercules, Mercury, Ganesh and many more but as I said one simple poll and they get all the answers on what gods to add. As for 2 gods in 3 weeks I know but I played 50 hours and got bored, so waiting for a few new gods won't change much. I'll think about coming back when the god pool will reach 50
@@rizztraininghamster I kinda forgot the poll thing u said, mb. But I also think a poll is kinda hard. Putting all the gods in will make the results so spread its useless. And even if theyd put in a few... Apparently Hirez isnt already very good at prioriting gods, so that wouldnt change much. Gods like Ra and Thor are mentioned a lot tho, so I think if ppl are just clear about who they want and Hirez pays attention to social media, they can come to a good priority list.
Also as someone with a similar profession, I do understand the devs want to add gods with different mechanics first, so you can get that out of the way. I do think they need a better balance between that and popularity tho (although Nu Wa is apparently the most played Smite 1 god in minutes, so cant argue with that)

Ganesha is datamined to be coming soonish, while Hirez stated Sylv is unfortunately at the back of this list. Ofc these things could be changed now tho.

btw, that charybdis is a known troll. I get them in my game every now and then, and if they don't snowball, they will actively throw and just afk in fountain, take your farm, pick up your buff, etc. Unfortunate that they still play but it is what it is.
Idk if i can say anything about smite 1 because I started to play smite as smite 2 was announced but in my elo there's an ass ton of leavers in my games and those games do not feel real good to play. I don't play ranked either so it might be different there idk. I don't see the point in grinding ranked in smite one when smite 2 is around the corner and most smite 1 players are already in smite 2, so like the ranked experience might not be the full one yk. I like your videos and watch some of your variety content as well. I just like what you talk about. The only thing i haven't watched yet is the horror content because I'm gonna binge watch that for October lol.

@@POWDERPACKS first thing you've said that I can agree with. Play both games. Play all of the games. Smite 2 will be great. For me personally, I still have fun on Smite 1, but I also switched to PC about a year ago so it kinda refreshed the game for me.
