Watched this particular podcast while at the hospital, which has been a time of reflecting on my life and changes that need to be made. I just love you guys! I’m a 50+ over stressed social worker concerned with the route our youth is taking. I hear your maturity on such deep themes I wish the kids I interact with would even care to listen to (don’t want to generalize because I’ve had kids that surprise me ever so often). You give me hope. Your openness, communication and awareness of your world surprises me. Funny that you mentioned Puerto Rico in this podcast. That is where I’m from and I can tell you how colonialism has been a bitter sweet pill that has brought so many problems to our development as a nation. We have been stolen of our right to decide our future. Our growth, economically, socially and emotionally has been stunted. As for your “ADHD” …I identify so much with Matt… as much as I’ve tried to change, I’m still an over thinker and over worrier. On the second one I’ve gotten better stopping myself and literally using bible verses to cut my worries and concerns leaving them at the feet of Jesus. There are two lessons you’ve learned that I learned late: we’re not perfect and, while we’re on this earth, we will never be perfect. And the second, goals are to be savored one at a time. JOY is found wherever, even in a hospital bed. I wouldn’t stop going, so God allowed it so…I needed the rest. I had forgotten my first love, Christ. So while I heal, I’ve reconnected with Him and…yes Ive watched you…and you are my angels today. May God continue to pour colored sprinkles of blessings over your adorable family. As for Abby, that sprinkles remark was for you and your beautiful cake. You are the picture of what a virtuous woman should be…sassy or sad days included. Tropical love from another beautiful Island…which can relate a lot to Hawaii, btw. But we could talk about that another day. ❤ Keep up the good work.🌼

My husband and I are 9 months apart. We married during the three months of the year we are both the same age. That being said we married after dating 6 months. We have been married for 38 years. When we started having babies we had a baby girl every 22 months. Stopped after having four beautiful little girls. Its been a good life! Remember to listen, love and to forgive quickly. Watched this particular podcast while at the hospital, which has been a time of reflecting on my life and changes that need to be made. I just love you guys! I’m a 50+ over stressed social worker concerned with the route our youth is taking. I hear your maturity on such deep themes I wish the kids I interact with would even care to listen to (don’t want to generalize because I’ve had kids that surprise me ever so often). You give me hope. Your openness, communication and awareness of your world surprises me. Funny that you mentioned Puerto Rico in this podcast. That is where I’m from and I can tell you how colonialism has been a bitter sweet pill that has brought so many problems to our development as a nation. We have been stolen of our right to decide our future. Our growth, economically, socially and emotionally has been stunted. As for your “ADHD” …I identify so much with Matt… as much as I’ve tried to change, I’m still an over thinker and over worrier. On the second one I’ve gotten better stopping myself and literally using bible verses to cut my worries and concerns leaving them at the feet of Jesus. There are two lessons you’ve learned that I learned late: we’re not perfect and, while we’re on this earth, we will never be perfect. And the second, goals are to be savored one at a time. JOY is found wherever, even in a hospital bed. I wouldn’t stop going, so God allowed it so…I needed the rest. I had forgotten my first love, Christ. So while I heal, I’ve reconnected with Him and…yes Ive watched you…and you are my angels today. May God continue to pour colored sprinkles of blessings over your adorable family. As for Abby, that sprinkles remark was for you and your beautiful cake. You are the picture of what a virtuous woman should be…sassy or sad days included. Tropical love from another beautiful Island…which can relate a lot to Hawaii, btw. But we could talk about that another day. ❤ Keep up the good work.🌼

My husband and I are 9 months apart. We married during the three months of the year we are both the same age. That being said we married after dating 6 months. We have been married for 38 years. When we started having babies we had a baby girl every 22 months. Stopped after having four beautiful little girls. Its been a good life! Remember to listen, love and to forgive quickly. Also, if what you are about to say or do would hurt you then don’t do or say it to them. Love your content.

The love, appreciation, mutual respect, gratitude that Matt has towards Abby is just do evident in this video. The way Abby is probing Matt to ask deep questions and really getting to know the crux of all topics really strengthens and solidifies the relationship both of you have. I also appreciate the decision you made to not include your kids in every video and how you respect their privacy as well. I also really liked how you acknowledged that no one is perfect, and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses that makes them unique, and all that matters is working to be the best version of yourselves every day!!

I'm no influencer but I've recently stopped sharing things about my kids even on my private SM because I just don't know what the future holds and I don't want their life being on the internet for anyone to access. Lastly, I'm a photographer and I love listening to your podcast as I edit! I'm at home with my kids but I usually take Wednesdays or Thursdays to edit and it's just lovely to listen to. You both are genuine and I love that!!
