it is very impressive, although it was just sequenced, not played live.
Started practicing this almost 7 days ago now, only problem I'm having so far is that I can only play it at 90% speed so far, if I go for the 100% I sometimes miss some notes during the big jumps Heheh

I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I've decided to learn this starting today. So far so good, the first 9 bars are fairly straight forward, but the syncopated triplets in bar 10 are taking their toll.
Could you elaborate please. Why are they syncopated if the accent starts with the first beat, why are they triplets if it's 2 notes of different lengths every time, why is there 7 eighths and 7 16ths in 4/4, what is with "8vb" and that underscoring, what does the capital A mean at the start of the next bar?
That's a lot of questions but I would sincerely appreciate if you answered on some of these)
@@morelesslike 8vb indicates that you play the highlighted section an octave lower than written.
The capital letters indicate musical phrasing/themes within the composition.
The triplet notation is hard to read, but is correct (it is ok to write a triplet containing different note length). In bar 10, each triplet is a quaver in length, but consists of two notes on beat 1 & 3 within that triplet, giving you a "da - da da - da da - da da - da da ......" rythym.

Btw, you seem to be pretty competent, how feasible is this arrangement in general in your opinion? I've started learning piano recently and able to perform some easier pieces like Hit the road, Jack and Gymnopedie so far. I would really like to learn this one as well. It's obviously too complex for me at this point but I plan to attempt it at an easier pace while practicing and learning other pieces at the same time. I don't mind if it takes me a year or two but is this possible in your opinion to learn it starting from where I am now?

Technically its Electro swing, but i guess this is accurate due to it being a piano rendition. Good video, though, I like this genre.

I think the issue here is that the title implies this rendition was rewritten to sound like ragtime piano, whilst you corrected him saying the song lone digger - caravan palace is of the electro swing genre. Both of those statements are correct and this is a simple case of quiproquo! :)

If you wanna get real technical, the rising chords with the falling bassline consists of:
Gdim/Bb, Fm/Ab, Gdim, Fm, Gdim/E, Bm7b5/D, EMajb5/C, and finally resolving to Fm. Hence why humans cannot play this.

This is the first time I've heard a good and accurate sounding piano cover of an electro swing song. MORE PLEASE ITS AMAZING! I just wish you used a more sharp and clear soundfont (I really want the midi so I can try different soundfonts but I know that isn't gonna happen soooo).

With enough practice it can be easily done with one person. There are way harder piano pieces out there that have and are played by one person.
Actually, this can be achieved by one person (I think this is a level 5 piece, who knows, I'm only a level 3, I don't know what Level 5 pieces look like-) with practice.

No you aren't... This song is just really really hard to play
It's not too bad, in all honesty. Yes it's technically difficult but you have to remember that in live performance you'd be much less of a slave to the meter as a sequenced video is so there's more time than you'd think to execute switches. The hardest part is the repetitive single notes that require two fingers right out of a chord sequence.
