Guess whose just bought some nail art foil strips?! I know this is an older video but I am working my way through them all and just love the ideas. Thank you Natasha! 👍😁
Beautiful cards. Love the foil idea. I don’t have any go to easy cards. If I had one that was relaxing, that would be dry embossing with a metal stencil, with or without coloring the stenciled image. Pattern paper used as a background, or a fussy cut image from a patterned paper is a fast and easy method. If I am feeling lazy, I buy regular cards that I can dress up with snow flake stamps, stickers, and sequins. Almost any cards with some empty white areas work. If the cards didn’t work for dressing up, the can be die cut again into letters and shapes. :-). Jennifer from Virginia USA
To answer your question about what kind of cards are my go-to’s-Natasha Foote cards!😁. I love following your tutorials and copying your cards! You’ve done all the thinking for me, and your instructions are great! I love all your cards!
My go to is, ink blended background and then do tone on tone with simple stamps scattered around. Dandelions work great for this technique. Love this video. I’m binge watching them. Just love them. Tysm
I have so many butterfly dies and really never use them, thank you for inspiring me to give them a go and create a card with them. I love your videos so much! Thank you for sharing your ideas, I appreciate you.
Wow. Beautiful cards and so quick to do. You could even use pretty patterned paper scraps behind the cut-outs instead of the foil if you haven't got any foil. Thanks for the great video.
My favorite part of card making are the background techniques like watercolor or ink-smooshing or bubble wrap inking. When I start making backgrounds I make A LOT! I have a basket full so I pull one out and add a focal point and sentiment. I have cups & bowls of those as well. Your cards are gorgeous!
Hi Tash! Glad I found the white on white card with the butterflies theme. They are one of my favourite things on the whole world! I will make some frames & get started. Always a card to make for a nature lover! 🌹🦋🌼🐞🌻🐝
Trying this right after I finish my coffee! I have the foil sheets... never used them. As you always say ‘today is that day!’ I’ll report back when I’m done. What a great idea. Gorgeous card and only one layer! Thanks so much for sharing!! 😘
My "easy" go-to would be an embossed panel with a die cut sentiment and some Nuvo drops. Both of your cards are wonderful, especially the white one. Nice to hear that you had a bit of "ME" time to play with your crafting supplies today. TFS.
Love this. I don't have any of deco foils. I tried to find some in our craft stores and nobody had any.. I was disappointed. Guess I'll have to just use foil cardstock. Still going to keep looking. Thanks once again.. always a joy to see what is next.
Thank you so much for your super idea for making the foiled butterflies card. My first lot of nail foils arrived this week after ordering following your previous foils video, so I can’t wait to try this idea. You make it look sooooo easy. I hope my card looks as good as yours. Thank you xxx 👍👍👍
These are two very Beautiful Simple Cards!! I am definitely going to try and make cards similar (Christmas cards). I esp DIG how you used foil in the first card and in the second card you used the Butterflies and made such an ELEGANT white on white card. FABULOUS job!! Thanks so much for sharing with us such great ideas and tips. Arlene
Gorgeous cards! I like to die cut pieces and put together. I really like vintage colors which are soft. Still experimenting with ink blending and coloring with alcohol markers. Not quite comfortable with that although I think I'm improving. Your ideas are are really great. Love your videos.
I like to inkblend a panel en use a background die on top, die cut sentiment and some sequins or enamel dots is my go to fast card. Realy love the white card!!!
Love the foiling idea Natasha. Think you could also do the same thing with die cuts that have been stuck onto double sided tape before cutting out.then foiling.
Love them both! What a great idea for the foil! I guess my easiest card I make would be using the big back ground dies I buy on AliExpress. Just cut them and put them over a pattern paper and it makes a pretty easy card! ♥️
So stunning yet so simple... WOW! Just found your channel and WOW... you have so much imagination and inspiration! Thank you. Tried out the links but the one for the foil goes to the double sided tape. I have ordered all the rest though..lol.... Thanks for helping me find items for my hoard :)
Where is the LOVE emoji when you need it. I don't have any foils but I see that glitter or holographic cardstock should also work. I will try this...thanks Natasha!!
Very helpful the foiling tip! Thank you very much. Could you tell me what is the tool you are using to put the "dots" in the first card? Where can I buy one? Thanks a lot
