    at 15:09, there you made 4 possible options out of 5, 5x2, 5x4, 5x6, 5x8 but why not 5x0(zero)

      @Rajdeep Biswas , you are right ,when we solving Cube root of 521660125, for which answer is 805, but when we are leaving 0, then answer will not come, also when we are using 0, then their there are two no's having fullfilling the requirement of digital sum, which is 1 in two cases - 805 & 865.....
      then which will be the answer....?
      Mam Pleaee resolve this.....
      Otherwise trick is good

    Using delete 9's when finding the digital sum is a much quicker way. I hope you will teach this. Also when checking for two possibilities for the middle digit of the cube root, if the first number does not have the same digit sum as the cube, you don't need to check the second possibility. It has to be correct! This saves time too!

    Mam I have another way for finding cube root of larger number
    Let me explain with examples
    Let us find answer for (196122941) ^(1/3)
    Step 1) Grouping: from our right-hand side group by three three digits as we have to find cube the result will be 196 , 122 , 941
    Step 2) Subtraction: Subtract 122941 from 196122941 so that the result will be 196000000
    Step 3) cube root: (196000000) ^ (1/3)
    Step 4) Ignore zeros: (196)^(1/3) = 196 lies between (5^30) & (6^3)
    as 196 is not an actual cube the answer for it's cube root will be a decimal number
    So to know exact digit after the point we should do this =(196-5^3) and (6^3-196) and result will be 71 and 20 respectively
    as 20 that obtained is lowest number we can assume 196 very closer to cube of 6 than cube of 5 . So we can assume (196)^(1/3) will be 5.8
    Step 5) Count zeros : there are 6 zeros . Take cube of 100 = 1000000 as ten lakh is cube of 100 multyply 100 with 5.8 which is equal to 580 .
    Now listen to question the last digit of number of which we have to find cube root is 1 and we know 1 is cube root of 1 only
    So Final answer =581
    Even though the process seems to be a complex one but it is very simple than long division
    We should by heart cubes and squares of all numbers

    Thank u dear lady. On another video one of your colleagues showed this method but it only worked for odd cubes as he didn't know how to choose the right digit for the possibilities with even numbers. As I commented, I felt there should be a way to work it out. It wasn't until your final example that I understood it :D

    1) You can eliminate the 9's and their combinations while taking the Digital sum.
    2) What if TWO numbers add upto the same Digital sum?

    Hello ma I solved this math question by finding the cube root of 196122941 using your method and I got 3M at one point before finally getting my answer. In this video you said 2M has two possible answers and 5M has four possible answers. Can we then categorically say that 3M has only one possible answer because I got only one possible answer from 3M.     By this method we get answers( cuberoot) of 200201625. These are 525,565, 585. The digital sum of these three answers is 9. It matches with the digital sum of question.

    Anything we don't immediately understand is a trick? BTW when u were adding 576=18=9 we could see it matched, as all extra steps involve multiples of 9 which can only result in 9, but I know this is about thoroughness.

    For finding correct answer did digit sum
    5359375= 37= 10=1
    Now finding correct answer
    A. 115 = 7 cube 343 digit sum = 1
    B. 135 = 9 cube 729 digit sum = 9
    C. 155 = 2 cube 8 digit sum = 8
    D. 175 = 4 cube 64 digit sum = 1
    E. 195 = 6 cube 216 digit sum = 9
    NOW my query is 115 and 175 digit sum answer is same now how to find correct answer from these two ??

    Possible answers are 725,745,765,785
    Out of these four 725 and 785 are satisfying the tricks mentioned but to choose correct out of these two options

      There are actually two candidates, 105 and 165. You should choose 105 because the first group of 3 digits (1 in your number) is much closer to 1^3 (in this example it's exactly 1^3), than it's to 2^3. Hope it helps!

      When unit place is 0, then the no. Will definitely have 3 0's at last. So just simply ignore those 3 0's and find the beginning 2 or 3 digits
      For ex - cube of 330 is 35,937,000 So simply we get 3 on tens place by that 7 and 3 on hundreds place by cube of 3 < 35 > cube of 4
      Ans - 330 SIMPLE !!!!

      Find 750^3 and compare with the 483736625
      750^3 = 421875000
      483736625 > 421785000
      Hence higher value root 785 is the correct answer.

    These are tricks which may work but may not work
    To get method which gives us one digit per iteration we need to use positional number system and binomial expansion
    We can also rearrange our binomial expansion

      Last 2nd digit is needed so 89 -29 =60 .. So last second dig is 6 .
      3LSq m = 3*9sq *m= 243m .
      Now check 3mul so that we can get 2nd last dig 6 .
      3*2=6 .. So only 2 is the possibility.
      So th3 cube rt is 129 ..

    Could you please work this one out as it appears to be wrong using your method. I get the first and last parts but not the middle. Here is the 8 digit number I used 25 255 792 My first digit is 2 and my last digit is 8 It did not matter what single digit I used for the middle part it did not give me the correct answer. Must be something in your calculation or my calculation that did not make it work out right.

      We do not have to subtract only from last three digits, we have to subtract from the whole number. Please subtract "729" from the whole number "184220009" and proceed, you will get the answer.

      Cube root of 1860867
      As we know cube root of 7 digit number is always gives 3 digits as a result
      Let’s say them as F, M & L.
      We need to make it in groups by considering 3 digits from right to left
      Group 1 - 867
      Group 2 - 860
      Group 3 - 1
      Now we need to see Group 3 first. We need to see where this group 3 falls. In this case group 3 number is 1 and it falls under 1 cube = 1 and 2 cube = 8. As we have to consider lower number, here it is 1. So our first digit is 1
      F => 1.
      Now we have to find the last digit. “7” is in unit’s place. We need to find which cube number’s unit matches to this. In this case it is 3 cube = 27.
      L => 3.
      Subtract this “L” last digit number from main number.
      1860867- 27( 3 cube) = 1860840. To proceed, we need only 2nd last digit. Here 2nd last digit is 4.
      To find the middle (M) digit, a formula needs to be remembered:
      3 X L square X M
      Here, 3 X 9 (3 square) X M - 27M. Now we have to see 7 multiplied with which number gives us the 2nd last digit which is number 4 in this case. So, the number will be 7 X 2 = 14.
      So, middle digit will be “2”
      M => 2.
      Answer is 123 -> 123 X 123 X 123 = 1860867.
