Just bought one of these on the strength of your excellent review. Having a problem currently however with anything requiring internet buffering pretty much all the time on most stations even our area which is Kent. Internet speed is broadband and fast with the router very close and I don't suffer with problems getting data normally. Is there perhaps a reason you can see why this might be. I may have to send it back because this was the main reason for purchase. I've also set the buffer to 8 seconds but it's no better
Thanks for the nice comments about the video. It sounds like you have a fault with your sound system. It has a three year guarantee so apart from the hassle of returning it, you should be OK. Wherever you bought it from should be where you return it. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
Keith, hi just got one today and amazed by it. Only have one problem and that is, can I have the clock on constant rather than switching between local weather. Any advice would be greatly appreciated but I am still exploring the wonderful set up of this machine. I will add that situated in a bit of a hollow and surrounded by trees we get best result from internet setting. Thank you.
Hi Keith, Delighted to read you are enjoying the Homerton by Majority. There are quite a few menus to get your head around, but it's worth the effort. I gave my Homerton to an elderly friend of mine who loves it and is constantly tuning into station in the USA and playing his collection of rock 'n' roll CDs. To answer your question: Using the remote press the Home button. Scroll though until you reach Configuration - press OK. Scroll down through the menus until you reach Weather - press OK. Scroll down to Show on Standby - press OK . Select Off and press OK. That should sort it out. If you don't like the way the time is displayed, select the Date & Time menu to make changes. Have fun - Gerald
Hi thanks for the videos. I also watched your kings review and Iam a little confused about the difference between the 2? Is this just the more modern one? Thanks.
They're quite different in design and the configuration of the speakers is also different. The navigation menus are very similar. I believe both are available, but Majority's current range can be seen at majority.co.uk/product-category/radios/internet-radios/ .
Dear Friend, Excellent demonstration of the Internet radio. Also, if you please, review Grundig DTR 6000 2.1 DAB Internet radio and its operation in details. I purchased from Germany and will be using shortly in india. Thank you friend.!!!!
I have one of these. Love it for playing audio book CDs Excellent product Very pleased with it
Glad you like it.

Hope you enjoy your new Homerton. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi. Loved the review. When playing a cd, does it display the artist name and title of track? Thanks
I gave mine to an elderly friend, but 99.9% sure it does.

Glad you liked the review. I’ve no plans to review the Grundig model, but you never know! Thanks again.
