Nadeto Mirkova its really strange for me that the person who is not young I mean who probably have listened to a lot of old singers , can admire Flores. He sounds like strong pop singer. Actually he has a great voice, but the voice need to be trained like it was in 20 century, let alone 19. :)

D' accordissimo. La voce e' sempre bellissima ma negli acuti non e' piu quella di qualche anno fa. Come ormai tutti i cantanti lirici di oggi Devia a parte, ovviamente.

This isn't JDF's best rendition of this aria (the last note is obviously insecure), he sang it better. Probably the question whether he should or shouldn't sing the part of Duke of Mantua will be discussed for a longer time. Regardless of audible small imperfections of the rendition it's a pleasure for me to hear him in this mini-concert - his beautiful voice, perfect phrasing and charming interpretation are rewarding more than enough. Bravo!

Il Duca - no.
La voce non trova la sua natura in questo repertorio e si sente già nella frase muta d'accento. Poi nel finale fatica. Per essere un brano semplice rispetto all'aria coi 9 Do nella figlia del reggimento, la sua voce fa veramente fatica. Questo perché lui ha delle corde adatte alle agilità e non ai fiati sostenuti e ai picchettati come in quest'aria.

Jose Efrain Cordova Ortiz placido no dijo eso, que loco. No es ni siquiera el mejor tenor ligero de la historia, mucho menos el mejor tenor en general.
Los que creen que Juan Diego Flores es el mejor tenor del momento es porque no escucharon todavía a Arturo Chacon, Javier Camarena o a Lawrence Brownlee.

Lawrence, tiene problema en los agudos, camarena tiene problema en la potencia y graves, no hay nadie con la tesitura de Juan Diego.
