10 signs of autism in our toddler how we knew
hi friends! today i'm going into way more about the signs that we saw in lincoln that led us to taking him into the doctor. i hope this helps somebody out who might be in the in between right now with their child of not really knowing but of course just use this as a rough guide for signs to lookout for. only a doctor can diagnose. if you have any questions about our experience or just wanna say hi leave me a comment down below!

I’m a first time mum too and I didn’t know - my son started saying single words after his 3rd birthday he’s now 5 and speaks well. The journey changes ❤️ your a great mum x
Glad to hear he’s doing well!! 💛 thank you!
I have a friend whose 2 year old reminds me so much of this child. But he only makes noises, mumbles and does these high screetches. He was a very late walker and isn't real stable even now. He holds his right arm out to his side when he walks, and just walks from one side of the room to another as far as activities. He also laughs inappropriately. He doesn't interact a whole lot with his parents but he will sit and listen to a story book. The only words he says is da da and yeah yeah and up up. I'm not sure if repeating one word is a sign of autism but that is all he does, and he has major texture issues...touching/tasting objects and food. His mom refuses to take him to Dr. He is inside their home 24/7 except to go to grocery store and shopping with her. No interaction with anyone else. I am so sad, but there is nothing I can do to get him help.
It's hard to know even when you are a second time mom. I always worked many years with children with Autism and Developmental Delay.
This is a serious subject, so I don't understand why you're smiling & laughing so much. People who are researching information about Autism are worried about their child. They need comfort & understanding.
Thanks a lot for sharing...it will help a lot of parents who needs this information.
Of course! That’s my goal 🙏🏻🤍
My little does most of this. She also likes to just sit in a dark closet. She’s 1. Has your little one done this?
Getting my 2yr old screened for Autism in 2 days and Im so anxious/scared this is all so new to me so thanks for this video💜
It is definitely okay to be anxious & scared! I’ll be praying for your appointment 🤍
@@catherinelorene9914 thank you so much🙌💜

@@catherinelorene9914 Thank you for asking. We are starting occupational therapt for his toe walking and waiting for a call to start therapy with an "Autism specialist" to do further testing 💜

Thanks mama!! I hope so!
can we talk when you are free please? thank you
Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thank you for sharing a lot of mother's need this information and insight. New subscriber here. I reckon my twins have speech delay. Could you possibly do a video on that as most children with autism also have speech delay x
Thanks so much for following along! I do have some more things I wanna share about speech for sure! I was thinking of making a video sharing about what we’ve been doing with Lincoln the last six months to help with speech since we’ve had a long wait to get him into speech therapy we’ve been doing a lot on our own for him that’s been helping
This was so informative I hope this reaches a mama who needs it!
Aw thank you 🙏🏻 I hope so too
how is his treatment now? how does he respond to his name and make eye contact ?
He is in aba therapy twice a week right now! He’s talking like crazy & doing really well with the potty! He still struggles to make eye contact we get little spurts but then he’ll look away & he’s doing a little better responding to his name but it kind of depends on the time of day. It seems like when he’s more tired towards the end of the day he tends to ignore us more.
New subbie... We're in the same boat
🤍🤍
How is he going now
He’s good! Was officially diagnosed in December (a video about that will go up soon) and he’s started aba therapy and doing well
Thank you for this!
Of course!
Great information will share with my parent group 👥
Thank you so much!! 💛
