We had a couple of nights away in the van and decided to go on a fishing trip to the Mull of Galloway in south west Scotland #mullofgalloway #fishing #lurefishing
Just stumbled on your channel today and enjoyed video, your perseverance will pay off and when it does the experience will be all the better. Enjoy your fishing and the beautiful out doors, thanks for sharing
Caught my biggest pollock on the Kayak left of that Bay. Great Mark loads of deep slopes and the Pollock just lay low and wait for the bait to pass. Only last year too.
Lovely video! Subscribed. Looking forward to your adventures 👍👍 Great stuff 👌🏻…That’s not St Abbs Head mind, St Abbs Head is in SE Scotland just above the Northumberland Border). Maybe your TomTom is on the blink 😂🫶🏻
Aaaarrggghhhh 🤦🏻♀️ I can’t believe I’ve put the wrong location into the video, what a numpty, thanks for pointing that out, not sure I can change that now it’s uploaded 🤷🏻♀️🫣
Hello Hinny, lovely video in a lovely part of the world, which I am very familiar with. A little early in the season for the rocks to be productive, but you can never tell until you give it a go, so good on you. Rewarded at least with a beautiful venue. And some great footage for us.
Love the Mull of Galloway and have travelled to the area for about 15 year now, next trip is due end of June 2023, thanks for this video as it's started my excitement for the upcoming trip. The bay you camped at is called East Tarbet and the bay on the other side is West Tarbet
Hiya Hinny, I bet you enjoyed the trip nonetheless. Get yourself up to Cullernose point shortly with some daylights & silver spinners. We remembered to take all of our all our fishng tackle to Scotland, but left the bait in my kitchen,..Oops!
Haha, I did similar, I forgot my fishing reels on this trip, thankfully there was a tackle shop on the way down to the Mull who kindly opened up for us on the Sunday so we could buy a new reel. We’ll put Cullernose point on our to do list 😊
I absolutely love the Mull of Galloway. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. I've always said if i came into a big lottery win 🤞 then that's where i would move too. I've been going there for nearly 40 years. It's just stunning there, especially when the sun is shining. I noticed that you were fishing with a paddle tale and you kept constantly moving the rod when reeling in. ( Don't do this ) Just keep ur rod still and point it down towards the water and just do a steady retrieve and keep varying the reel speed ( Not too fast ) and you should have better results. I'am glad to see more women enjoying the sport. Good luck and Tight lines... 🐟🐟 🎣
That's east & west Tarbet mull of Galloway light house been fishing it since the 70s enjoyed your video subscribe as I have just watched Isle of Whithorn video excellent work🎣
Hello hinny enjoyed your video to the mull of Galloway, ,get yourself some silver minnows razor claws of amazon 40 grams or 60 grams and that will see you into some nice fish..goodluck and stay safe out on they rocks
Great 👍 we’ve camped both sides, it’s handy to have the choice depending on wind direction. Last time I was there I was solo in tent on the west side bay
