Funny how PSAs of the 70s had to remind active children to eat ENOUGH food whereas nowadays we're fighting an obesity epidemic. I came along right in the middle, I guess. People weren't too worried about me and my peers and our eating habits, but tacking the word XTREME to the front of snack products made us way more likely to beg our moms for 'em. :P
Cheese is fine. It's a healthy fat. The carb talk is what's a no-no. But he doesn't push the carbs too hard and fats aren't rejected by the conveyor belt so it's actually rather sensible for a PSA.

I remember these Time For Timer PSAs from the 70s and 80s. They were shown on ABC on Saturday Mornings. Timer was voiced by Lenny Wienrib.
