About Sephiroth and Genesis age. They really are pretty much same age. But Sephiroth was just born to be a hero. He started fighting at a really young age (due to Ever Crisis for e.g.). It make sense then :)
tbf, Crisis Core's writing did suffer a fair bit from originally being on the PSP (on top of the common strange writing choices that did plague a lot of Square's titles at the time). But to sum, a reminder that Loveless is a stage play based on an incomplete epic poem (while we only get bits and bobs from Genesis' quoting and these summaries here, it's implied to be a larger story - the bits we get in Rebirth from that play rendition are another side of the story too). and there are also a LOT of common theories as to which CC character maps onto which Loveless character. I think there's an official answer in some interview somewhere, but ya know, death of the author and all that lol. As for the age thing, I've seen some timelines that suggest Sephiroth first went to Wutai at like age 12, but this hasn't ever been fully confirmed. the first chapter of Ever Crisis's original The First Soldier story takes place about 10 years before the start of Crisis Core and in that story, it's estimated that Sephiroth is around 13-15 (though again, no confirmation). the exact birth order of Sephiroth, Genesis, and Angeal is also disputed. Some place Sephiroth as the eldest while other think Genesis is (I personally think that it was Genesis first, then Angeal, then Sephiroth - the preview trailer for the next First Solder episode in Ever Crisis backs me up a bit hehehe. :3
Bri finds the perfect way to start everyone’s week by releasing a new Crisis Core vid! Thanks again for always providing that classic SRG content we all can’t get enough of. Congratulations on the Golden Joystick award nomination!
Wild to think we’re almost at the end of this crazy journey. It’s been something… interesting. Can’t wait to see how it all ends! I’m sure it’s all going to be sunshine and rainbows right?… Right?
How I remembered the difference was: Stalactites have the letter C for ceiling while Stalagmites had the letter G for ground. The Light of Doom...not to be confused with the Shadow of Fluffy Bunnies. I'm always a sucker for when science meets sorcery in my media. Final Fantasy as a series seems to always have that in varying degrees. My fave part of this video and really all of the rest, is how even at below level 30 you seem pretty decked out to win. Even nearing end game from what your video description sounds like. Have you played the original on PSP and know what to use or was this your first go at Crisis Core?
I’m loving this playthrough. This video is the point where I stopped playing this game, thanks to the missions. I realized I missed one and it ruined my platinum run. I’m very much wanting to know what you think about the gift of the goddess though 😂😂😂 I always thought it was StalaCtites, and stalaGmites, C for ceiling and G for ground. That’s funny.
My favorite part of this game is the Nibelheim section, and some of the added back story, though a lot of it is way confusing. They went way too cryptic with Genesis and even Angeal. But its still a fun game to play, and i enjoy watching Briana play through this and seeing her reaction. She adds a perspective that i might miss out on my playthrough. I look forward to seeing the finale of this playthrough
My favorite part has to be the prison area. It sucks that it's optional. The atmosphere was so eerie to me. Seeing messages written on the walls and hearing about the states of the different prisoners there, I loved it!
Seing the reboot of this game confirm my impression years ago: I highly prefer FF7 main story. But that's just me. Hope we'll see you continue the Rebirth part soon! Wish U the best.
Totally agree! I love the original FF7, Remake, and Rebirth, but I just pretend this game doesn't exist. What they did with the plot and characters, and how it fits into the main ff7 lore makes me cringe. No offense to Briana, though--she is great in this game as a voice actor.
@@pierce45 I agree with you, Brianna's work is still as awesome as precedently. I'm just not into long corridors games; so goes for dirge of Cerberus and the mobile game,I tried both, and... meh.(but so many outfits in the mobile game.. if only that could be added to rebirth). I wish that the third part will be as good as we all hope, and maybe out for 2027 Christmas, who knows! 🙂
Let’s gooo, more Crisis Core! Also, congrats on the Golden Joystick Award nomination, Bri 🎉!
Thank you so much! 😊
Congrats again on the Golden Joystick nomination!!
Thank you so much!!
Screw the golden joystick. I don't like the treatment that black myth and stellar blade got from them and I haven't even played those games.
I do like how they mix the silly with seriousness as well as getting to see some of the characters backstory, the combat system is fun and different.
Briana, I've been waiting for this ❤

My favorite part of Crisis Core was best boy Zack, and of course, best girl Aerith. Zack is so lovable and goofy. I absolutely love him.
Gotta love zack.
We all know that the book at 3:31 must be a picture book since Zack can't read.

I can't get over how ridiculous this dialogue is. It's hilariously bad in the best way possible!
it's part of the game's charm for sure 🤭

💠girly sees luminous crystals in cave then girly is happy💠 (I relate to that as well lmao)

Zack is such a Siberian Husky in appearance with a German Shepherd in behavior 🐶

What I love about Final Fantasy is how in every game the is full of NPCs with their own little stories going on.
Luv final fantasy 7, wanna buy the sequel and play it ❤

Yeah this is that mid to late 2000s square enix difficulty alright
you're almost at the end. this was an amazing gameplay.

stalagMITES are on the ground, like mites/bugs
And stalacTITES hang down from the TOP
Or they MIGHT trip you :middle manager:
@@StrangeRebelGaming ooooo I hadn’t heard that one. Thank goodness mnemonics or no one would ever remember the differences 🤣
You are so beautiful ❤️
I came buckets
