Even though the UNSC projectile weapon sounds in Reach used samples from real weapons (ex. the AR is sampled from a SCAR), it's still really cool and surprising that this DMR sounds really similar to the in-game version
Also the contrast between hearing the high pitch ring from the round going off compared to it being more filled with the helmet on. Could explain why the DMR in reach sounds so beefy.

The halo Sniper Rifle was based on the NTW-20, it actually looks very similar. Someone with the right experience could pretty easily modify it to look like a replica of halo’s sniper rifle

You should make some kind of miljonir MK V armour and have it be a flash back episode for living with chief or something, maybe him telling you what it was like in the first halo game.

6:06 it's weird to say, but the AR-15 actually looked out of place next to all the Halo guns, and they were the ones that looked "normal" to me lol

Halo CE AR recording was a .50 MG, lol. Thing sounded meaty as shit.
They're shooting 7.62x51 and the DMR used 7.62x51. I'd hope it sounded the same.
