You must have never seen The Statesmen in concert. There are no words, they were indescribable. The Cathedrals are great but they don’t compare to brother Hovie and the guys .

As America drifts further and further from God; our veterans suffer while illegals get help; government is run a muck; and now, people are stomping on our flag the way liberals have been stomping on our religious freedoms... I just had to come listen to this song, "Statue of Liberty" and "The Last Sunday" by the Cathedrals.
Oh, baloney! You are what is wrong with America and with Christianity today. You've drifted away from the teachings of Christ to love everyone as we love ourselves, and to welcome and feed the stranger. You're helping pave the way for the antiChrist. You hate Christian principles and you hate the principle that is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty: Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." Stop listening to the demonic right-wing deceivers. You're listening to their seductive whispers just as Eve listened to the serpent's whispers in the Garden of Eden. You think it sounds good, when it is Evil. You need to repent. Jesus never talked about "religious freedom" O ye hypocrite! His followers were persecuted and killed for their beliefs! Christians don't need the government to pass laws. Jesus said exactly the opposite, give to Caesar that which is Caesar's and to God that which is God's.
Aside from that, you're just plain ignorant. I'm a "liberal," and part of the great silent Christian Left. We actually help people. We want to see healthcare for all so that all may be healed. We want government fuel and food and housing and education assistance for those who can't afford it because Jesus told us to give away our riches to that we can enter Heaven.
You are blinded to the fact that the things you are saying make you a Christian in name only. The Cross is MY "statue of liberty." It set me free from my earthly selfishness. You need to get saved.
