What a year for Rafa 👌👏Coming back from injury, winning double Career grandslam and record #14 and #22🔥 . Can't wait to watch him perform next year hoping we get rafa vs nole AO and RG final 🙏
Unfortunate he didn't perform great on the ATP Tour this year, but absolutely smashed it at the Slams. He wants one thing and one thing only, to extend his RG and total Slams record
At this stage of his Career I think it is honestly fine if he doesn't perform well at the Tour but instead dominates at the Slams as long as he is playing
2006 - Italy won the FIFA World Cup ; Nadal won Roland Garros 2010 - Spain won the FIFA World Cup ; Nadal won Roland Garros 2014 - Germany won the FIFA World Cup ; Nadal won Roland Garros 2018 - France won the FIFA World Cup ; Nadal won Roland Garros 2022 - Argentina/France will win the FIFA World Cup ; Nadal won Roland Garros
Forgot how crazy his start to the year was. I’ve got faith he can regain that form. The win against Ruud proved it and a bit of rest will do him the world of good
All three big 3 must have missed one achievement that each other owns: Federer won all slams for twice+ except french open Nadal failed to claim atp final title Djokovic failed to claim olympic gold medal but still they are the goat
@@Anticommunism99 1. If doesn’t exist. I could easily say if Nadal was healthy last year he’d win 3 slams 2. Djokovic hasn’t even won the US Open since 2018, and even that was with a pretty weak draw. It’s arguably his worst slam, so I don’t know why you think it’s a foregone conclusion he would’ve won that. Alcaraz, Sinner, Kyrgios or someone could’ve beaten him.
@@Anticommunism99 I think both of them cannot play at 100% for the whole season. The fact that Nadal is out of gas for the second half, and Novak was mostly out for the first half is the reason why they can only dominate for 6-7 months only. But they are still the best compare to all other players, sadly! When they play at their full level, they only lost to each other.
@@HungNguyen-lr1rs we will see in 2023 looks like Novak will participate in all majors so no more excuses. They need to face each other once again to decide the slam and Goat debate.
@rafaundisputedgoat4291 atp tour finals, the best if the best play a tournament. Someone has won it 6 times and someone has never won it. Hmm I wonder.
It's gonna be tougher and tougher to repeat what he's been able to achieve this season. I think 2022 was the proof Rafa's fitness and mental stability are shakier and shakier and he can't control his body the way he used to in the past. The fact he played tournaments like Wimbledon or any part of the grass season at 36 didn't help for this year either. Age doesn't forgive anyone, but I'm so, so grateful for this season. For the future I just wish health for him and, if it's time to do something else, he mustn't regret anything, cause he's achieved almost everything in this sport. Maybe some of you might call what I wrote here "cheesy", cause you only watch him for trophies, but I don't, simple like that. :D P.S.: I really hope he's the ATP fans' favorite this year, he deserves this a lot!
