The Follett Kingsbridge series, well worth your time ! Brothers Karamazov excellent ! Bleak House by Dickens! Look ed Paris by Rutherford. Serum too. The two Dublin books as well. I have the Follett Century series on my self. Count of Monte Christopher great. Lee Miserables!!!
I love Robin Hobb. I definitely need to read more from this author. You have plenty of choice for March of the Mammoths.... looking forward to watching a video about how you got on!
I just discovered March of Mammoths, I'm reading Don Quixote for this challenge. I have been wanting to read Neal Stephenson, but have not read anything by him. I've read Sarum by Edward Rutherfurd, about England which I did enjoy. I Like all of the books you mentioned! I don't think I helped pick a book, but Robin Hobb sounds good! Good luck with your choice!
Thanks! I’ve read “Termination Shock” by Neal Stephenson and enjoyed it. Haven’t read any Edward Rutherford yet even though I have two of his books on my TBR.
Wow, so many wonderful options!! I actually haven't read any of them yet. But I pick London!! Knock out the biggest one and it sounds super interesting! 🥰
“The Brothers Karamazov", I have picked it up a number of times, but never really applied myself too. I recommend "London" and "The Gormenghast Trilogy" and "Don Quixote". Good luck with your reading.
Ooo this is tough…I really enjoyed Fall of Giants; I read that series so fast because it was really good! Right now I would pick Ship of Magic because I’m on a Seafaring kick 😊
I was wondering if you just stumbled on my channel by sheer coincidence or if you saw it in my discord bio. If it’s the former that’s crazy considering how small my channel is!
I have had Don Quioxte sitting in my stack for a while. It is one I think I will enjoy, but the sheer size of it scares me. ;p You have a lot more mammoth books in your stacks. I haven't read any of them, so I can't offer any help on deciding. I am going to be picking up Robert Galbraith's 'The Running Grave,' which pulls in over 900 pages. Good luck on your mammoth reads! :)
Thanks! Not sure if you know or not, but Robert Galbraith is actually JK. Rowling’s pen name. Not judging you or anything, just thought you ought to know in case you didn’t already.
I have never heard of March of the mammoth before. You have enlightened me. I never knew there was so many large books, especially almost 1300 pages. Good luck on your read in March and I look forward to hearing which book you read mum. 13:01
Welcome to booktube! @M-J from Reading This Life brought me here. Gormenghast is wonderful, that gets my vote. Looking forward to hearing what you decide on.
Thanks mate, happy to be here! I did indeed end up picking Gormenghast, I’m 100 pages in and really enjoying it! It’s so quirky and eerie and I love that vibe!

Don Quioxte sounds interesting to me. The night has a good friend which is a nice character.
Cool! I definitely want to get to it eventually!
greetings from Chile
Hi mate! :)

That is a fair point, I will have to read that sometime this year!

Thank you!
Ooo this is tough…I really enjoyed Fall of Giants; I read that series so fast because it was really good! Right now I would pick Ship of Magic because I’m on a Seafaring kick 😊
Awesome! I definitely want to get to them both at some point!
I am voting for the Brothers Karamazov and the luminaries as I’ve always been curious about them both!
I have just filmed the video where I announce my picks, and I did pick one of those!
I vote "The Gormenghast Trilogy" or "Ship of Magic", both of which I shall now research because they sound quite interesting!
Eyyyy, hi Lore! Nice to see you found my channel! And thanks for the suggestions!
(I’m Sinewave, by the way)
Oh hey! How funny!
And of course!
I was wondering if you just stumbled on my channel by sheer coincidence or if you saw it in my discord bio. If it’s the former that’s crazy considering how small my channel is!
I really enjoyed The Luminaries so I highly suggest it. I never read Paris but I did read Sarum and London by the same author and really enjoyed both.
Awesome! Also I love your channel name, very relatable 😂
I vote “The Luminaries” because the cover is the prettiest and it sounds like it’s the only one I’d be able to get through 😂 #nonbooknerdthings

@@TheLimitlessLibrarian Yep, I did know that. But thanks anyway! :)
I just subscribed. Currently listening to the audiobook of War and Peace (1869) by Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910).
Awesome, and thanks for the sub! :) I haven’t read War and Peace, I have heard it is a Big Scary Book, though that wouldn’t put me off.
Gormenghast is a great read
I’m 100 pages in and enjoying it so far!

I just finished a 1300 page book this month, that was the longest book I’ve ever read! Big books don’t scare me!
