    While some of these tasks are being performed by amazingly skilled craftsmen/artists, many are manual labor jobs performed by (presumably) poorly-paid workers who do their tasks with impressive speed and efficiency.

      but the , probably, poorly paid workers , have a great working environment, mates, laughs, fresh air, great physical fitness, .. while the ,presumably, better paid workers are lonely, pale, work inside, with stale air , sitting down, back ache , with few laughing moments , little camaraderie and poor fitness .

      Most of these things have been done with automation for decades and way more efficiently 24/7. Also acknowledging this makes me feel like an ass somehow.

    The hydro seeding looks like a fun job, I used to drive a 2 1/2 ton tanker truck with water sprayers and a fire hose to water down construction sites for dust control and compaction, it was a blast.

    Yes, it is eminently satisfying to see someone who is a master of their craft. I seem to only run into disciples of the Peter Principle: the principle that workers are promoted until they reach the level at which they are no longer competent.

    A suggestion: you might want to tell people who are watching your video just what the hell they're looking at, like were they making see-through toilet paper, were they cutting up sugar cane and then how do they process that into sugar things like that. There are some things in here I had no clue what was going on

      They are flailing rice to separate the grain from the husk. A traditional method that was used on grain crops all over the world until automation took over.
