Tip : Play harder songs than you can handle, even if you fail. I was stuck playing easy hard level songs for a lot of time, and was unable to progress to be able to play expert level charts. Then, I decided to only play expert charts, and now I can clear lvl 27s.
i second this. it's about the muscle memory. i could barely complete level 28 before but recently ive been clearing 29's here and there. keep playing and pushing yourself :3
good job!! you're doing really well :D i dont rlly feel like I'm improving but then i realised im getting closer and closer to fcing this song on expert every day.. edit: just a tip, have you tried increasing your speed by about 0.2? i usually do that when i feel like mine's too slow and then adjust according to how i feel with the higher speed. just wondering because you got quite a bit of 'early's ^^
Coming from a someone who's been playing for 2 years+ I think you are doing very good. If you are a thumb player, then I would recommend trying fingers because playing hard spam songs with fingers is easier. I play both but I find that I full combo master 31+ easier with fingers. I recommend you play some other hard songs just to get used to it(even if you die). I really like ÅMARA, the EmpErroR, and the Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku. Some songs that have slow gimmicks like Whats up pop and Zunda Party Night are also enjoyable❤
hi! pro player here, your doing very good! i can tell you have a lot of potential! i have some tips, up your speed a bit, (you were getting early greats, thats why.) and try harder songs even if you dont pass them! i did that when i first started out and now im capable of fcing 31s!! i hope this helped ^^ keep up the great content!
@@QualityDoggo That's true, adjusting to the settings you find comfortable is good. You also need to improve yourself so you can use the right settings even better.
@@QualityDoggomoving the speed up by .1 would help, because it would be easier to adjust, when I first played pjsk that's what I did.. I moved my speed from 8.0 slowly to 9.0 then slowly to 10.0 now my highest speed I can read is 10.9 and I also now can FC harder songs
i played around 4 months (from april) and can now easily fc level 25-26 expert charts, i don't go for ap cuz idc about them, keep it up, try to get to know about more songs thru jp pjsk server as they got frequent new songs and try buying the hardest hard you can find - Yippie

Ik u said in another comment ur used to this speed but even for songs u are “used to” u shouldn’t be getting that many lates (not a bad thing just means a slower speed would suit u better!) I’d slow it down by like 0.3 ish if I was u

I'm certainly no pro but it seems more helpful to learn the speed instead of adjusting the settings, since you have to relearn the timing, no?

as a speed 11.1 pro player im proud of u but try play lvl 14 or lvl 15 hard it will help u like i did but meru is easy so try it!
you're good, try playing on a lower speed so you can see the notes better
