very cool Porcupine Tree dvd, I'm at that Chicago show in the balcony, saw them both times in Chicago when they performed the Incident for the first set, and a second set of their hits, amazing both times but the one on the DVD was especially good at the Riviera Theater. Peace.

You pronounced that Art Zoyd title perfectly. Another artist that I must add. Kawaida sound Karazy. When you said "Don Cherry" I paused your video and I checked out the song 'Maulana' on YT. It was good but the mix was a bit distant? The reissue is printed in orange and the font is smaller than your original. I watched Chris's ECM posts and they were fantastic. Man does he know his jazz. Love seeing some of your ECM collection! Especially the early LPs. I'm always looking out for those early releases. A few weeks ago I found a perfect copy of ECM 1001 Mal Waldron. Talk about a grail! Nice update. Take care.

Hi Dereck. Great video, as always! I love the ECM particularly. The Barre Phillips that you showed, yesterday was it(?), is one of my grails! I have it as a digital download, so seeing it in the flesh as it were, is very exciting! The Lindberg was recorded by our sister orchestra in London, BBC Symphony Orchestra. My band, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales is based in Cardiff. Lindberg studied composition with the Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara, who's music is worth checking out too!
I was just thinking about that Kawaida album the other day, very cool that you have an original. Stellar ECM stuff, I'm not surprised that you have a lot of those rare releases. I have that Art Zoyd reissue, great stuff. I'm always on the lookout for R.I.O. artists, need to track down some Etron Fou. Nice post, Dereck.
