It's good to know that you can "almost" hear sounds from behind you. 😂 With the $5 hello kitty Bluetooth speaker that I found at the bus stop, I can "almost" hear sounds from behind me on that too. 😉
Hey great review! I noticed you have the Sony surround system, which I have too. Have you ever used a separate amp to power them? lol. I found they do go vry loud, but sound a bit bright in the upper midrange and a fairly rolled off considering they have a super tweeter. My actual stereo system uses the Technics Sb c-700, pair with 15" PSA sub connected to a Marantz amp.
Thanks! I've just got into this AiO home theater hobbby 😀Stepping up from Samsung HT-F9750W to this Sony N9200W - huge upgrade. I've never tried to power it with other amps, as for my smaller room it gets job done just right and the amount of bass isn't overpowering. But yeah, I got your point, seems like a good idea especially with active sub, because bass really doesn't go that low from those passive subs - it probably is the biggest flaw of the whole system. Apart from that, all the surround effects and simulation work great to me, really happy with it, for such price and size. They aren't to bright in treble indeed but I actually don't mind it much, prefer it over harsh sharp sounding systems. I love the looks too, would take it any day over even 5k$ soundbar :D
Spot-on review as always! I found Chromium 35s to be very versatile speakers
