Flying the Sim

I love flying. And I've traveled in small airplanes since I was a child. I remember when I first stepped up onto the black no-slip strip on the starboard wing surface of a Winair Beechcraft Twin Bonanza to gain entry into a new type of travel vehicle so I could spend summer vacation with my sister on the island of St Barths with my father's relatives. I am not a pilot, but my sister is. She also makes a living working on computers and introduced me to Microsoft Flight Simulator long ago when it was first sold on floppy disc. I am forever grateful. Since then FS has evolved into a cult phenomenon that I have watched grow into a digital revolution that I am still trying to master. I may not be a pilot but I am a graphic artist. And MS Flight Sims have afforded me the opportunity to shake up an ordinary game into graphic images that have turned into works of art. I have since moved on to video art which has convinced me that I have missed my calling as a filmmaker. I hope you like it.
