In general, I think the “colour group” is cyan because the differing shades are soleley blueish colours of cyan rather than the blue and green teal is derived from. It’s all technically the same colour group, the only thing that really changes is the saturation. The context matters more than the actual colour here. Because the colours around it are light, the darker one is implied to be cyan.
