If you focus 1 leg with flamethrower, you can kill it in about 3-4 sec. It's relatively hard to do consistently, but manageable if you get better at it.
@@Mogz-hd it's because the armor on the charger's leg doesn't protect it's leg fully. If you stand on a big rock and a charger gets stuck under you, you can shoot it's leg behind the armor with a primary weapon too and kill it. However the flamethrower does the same from any angle. So when you are focusing on 1 leg you destroy that 1 leg really fast. If the charger loses a leg it dies instantly. Hence why the leg is the weakest spot of a charger usually. Except with arc thrower, that weapon can kill a charger in the head with 8 shots, which is the fastest as far as i know with that weapon.
:several chargeypoo's were harmed in the making of this video: In regards to the mech kill one; I think the armor plating on the bugs matters (i.e if you were to shoot intween and from behind their armor plates it does full dmg) so the angle your rockets it was probably the leg+behind the head dmg at the same time....just a thought tho I haven't confirmed 😊
The newly buffed laser cannon can take them down in a few seconds after you dodge their charge attack. There's a vid on StandardAce’s channel about it.
So before the flamer buff you could just focus one leg and drop a charger with half a canister, On Helldive all you needed was one chad using a flamer to take care of all the small bugs and chargers, If you slapped on a rover backpack you legit melt everything except Spewers and Bile titans, (You can still melt spewers it's just too risky in my opinion). There are videos of people demonstrating the flamer's untapped power before the buff. Now after the buff, the flamer is nuts. Still a risky weapon though which I like.
you can kill them way faster with these methods. aim the flamethrower at its legs, railcannon kills normal chargers instantly and you can use the stratagem way faster.
Why doesn't anybody who makes these kind of videos know about variants? In the exosuit clips the reason the second one took 5 was because it was a charger behemoth, a variant of the charger with more armor. Obviously it would take more.
i like the exo mech except there are random moments where the mech just blows up for no reason when firing the weapons. the mech 9/10 times was full hp when it happens
The chargers have completely ruined this game for me it is the only enemy that does not have a clear and defined weak point. When you're fighting the automatons every single one of them even the tanks have clear and defined weak point which can be destroyed with any weapon. This game absolutely sucks when you're spending most of your time kiting around and enemy that you cannot kill.

They're definitely a lot easier to deal with now if you have the expendable anti tank since a headshot with one will kill it instantly. Of course that's probably cold comfort if you're being attacked by multiple so you better hope your aim is good with the two launchers you get, pray you've got good teammates who can keep the pressure off you so you can focus on the chargers
@@inyrmind the bile titan and the chargers are the only ads in the game without a clearly defined weak spot. A weak spot means it's weak! Not a spot only a anti tank missle can damage. Even with the hulks and tanks you can kill them with any weapon if you do damage on the weak spots.
He's not talking about the most efficient ways. Just the fastest so he's still right. I would not use the 500k, or the RCS just for a charger either. But they are definitely fast.
the difficulty 3 charger used as a boss does not have the same health pool as a charger on any other difficulty. stop using this charger as any kind of example besides of how to spread misinformation with a false positive test because youre using a bad test subject.
Yes it does, I’m not sure how or why you’re creating a false narrative for yourself but two shots from the rail gum still kill it, two eat’s kill it two auto cannon shots kill it. It’s not different other than the look, get back in the game and actually test these things for yourself. If you aren’t getting it in the same number of shots it’s because you suck not the charger variant

2 eat shots are pretty fast but depending where you hit it can take more. The cooldown is so short who cares if you burn em up.

The first one was a behemoth too. On the "kill the charger" mission you always get the behemoth charger as target.
