- This is the highlight of Joe’s SMP journey.
Starting in 2009, Joe initially got SMP, back then called a hair tattoo (wasn’t called SMP until 2015).
After a few years, an extension was added, and the result was worn until 2018 when Joe decided to laser remove the entire treatment.
After, getting Subtle Pigmentation by Nichole, we showcase the result up close and under bright lighting (The #SpotlightChallenge).

How long did the redness last after the laser removal? How long after the removal was this video filmed?
Wnt to get mine remived as i got a bad treatment & so scared my scalp will just stay red/pink afterwards
Most cases the redness clears away after a few days. Could subside as fast as a day or two, and in some cases the redness could last a week or more. I know that’s not clear, but each case will vary.
This was filmed a couple days after laser treatment.
Get it removed! It will free you, that’s my opinion.

Had first Smp treatment here in New Jersey was not happy so I’m going to get it removed how long after the session can I look to get it removed the place im going to has pikaway laser then how soon after laser can i get smp again thanks for any info
Get it removed asap. Check with laser specialist, but normally 4-6 weeks after laser removal you can once again get smp.
@@scalp_logic I had the procedure done two weeks ago. The guy I saw has the picaway laser. It’s only the first coting , so it is very light. I was also wondering if it could be salvaged since it’s so sporadic is there anyway I could talk to you on the phone I tried to call you and I did leave a message. Thank you so much for your help. We have been located in Houston, Texas for 4 years now. We do also still operate in Southern California.
Where did you get the laser removal at?
Rejuva medical in Los Angeles unfortunately the technician we used no longer is with the company.

@Tom Lewis mine started to look darker and dont blend as natural as it used too

Great video. Very informative in your experience are smp laser removal companies the same as tattoo removal companies? What should I look for As far as equipment a company has and finally, do you know if smp laser removal will destroy surrounding hair folicules? Thank you

I got a bad SMP procedure done 8 months ago. Luckily, I only did 1 session of 3, so they’re pretty spread out. But, the dots are too large and dark compared to my actual hair, and goes a bit past my hairline. I have all my hair, and got this done for density. If I want to remove, will the laser damage my hair follicles and affect future growth?
They went past the hairline on a density treatment?!?!?
In most cases, laser removal does not damage the native hair. I had no issues myself.
I’d suggest speaking to a laser removal specialist for a more in depth answer on your case.
What was the recovery time after the laser, I dont mean until you got your new smp but until it looked back to normal.
Just a few days, maybe 2 or 3 days and the color was back to normal and visible irritation gone.
Joe, I found you again! I needed a touch up and discovered that you moved. Will my MP you did on me 5 years ago turn out different if I got a touch up?
