Thanks for sharing your rail experiences Phil and keep them coming. We had planned to visit the UK in April for about a month from Australia and do some train videoing as part of our Holidays. But with the current situation around the World thats been put on hold, so we hope either to visit in Sept this year or 2021. Cheers Richard

Got me puzzled there, Phil. I could have sworn that your previous efforts at Acton Bridge showed a four-track layout!!

Ahh, yes you're right Alan! This video was just to the North of the station, 2 tracks. Previous videos have been just to the south, where there are 4 tracks to Hartford junction. These act as a slow line or loop, to allow faster trains to pass, and also where trains slow down to join the mid Cheshire line at Hartford junction

Nice video but what's with the flashing single amber at 0.48? Shutter angle issue or was it really flashing?

No it was really flashing! My question a couple of years ago.It indicates the route is said to turn left off the mainline at Weaver Junction ( about a mile away), and head towards Liverpool
