Everything is useless without walls in that game (other turrets do block movement, but they have pretty much near no health so they can only tank first wave at most, if even that. Anything after that will kill all you have placed if you got no walls). It is the most important early permanent-upgrade, and timing the in-round upgrades (assuming you get the OP artifact that heals structures to max each time they upgrade) and replacements is the most important part of the game

I love my little germ incubator. When she was young she caught everything and loved coughing in my face. Now she's older she can bring me back all the best germs from school. My immune system has been doing some training lately. :P I'm sure yours will improve shortly.
One of my kids coughed right into my mouth once when I was yawning. I could almost feel the germs multiplying immediately. It’s so nice once their immune systems boot up fully and they stop bringing home so many germs.
I think it's less about their immune system booting up, and more their basic hygiene booting up. Little kids just touch everything then put it in their mouths, I even saw a little kid walk down a hallway licking the damn walls!
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that wait time for buildings. IMO, the time it takes to drop should be more than enough, to have to wait an extra 20+ seconds really makes the difficulty level of this game soar.
I think it is mainly to prevent econ builds from becoming super oppressive, since having good economy means little if you don't have enough time to spend it all. Which seems good. But I do agree the wait seems quite long for even such basic things. I think more like how the "buffer" upgrade at the end works is nice, or maybe the thing will land halfway through.

I understand that the garden architect is a specialist but as such I need experience under my belt and school. Would I want go for something smaller scale to start like interior or home design and build from there orrrrrr what there’s just so many options
