I was at the game tonight! Not only did we give Rhys Hoskins a standing ovation for his first at-bat, we greeted him with cheers for his next at-bats as well. The crowd was about half cheers and half boos after he hit the home run in the 7th inning. I also booed, but in a good-natured way.
You can see people clapping and booing at the same time after the HR.
If I was there I would have cheer for Rhys when he hit the home run. He is always going to be a Philly. I want him to do great. He give us everything. So go ahead and be great Rhys.

@michaelodonnell9756 he wasn't Traded. He was a free agent at the end of last year. Phillies upper management didn't want to bring him back. It FUCKING sucks that a good player like Rhys they are done with. He was here when the Phillies were rebuilding the team. And when they really look like this might be the year. He isn't going to get his world series ring. That's what is really wrong. If anyone deserves to be on the Phillies team when they win it all. It's Rhys Hoskins he played hard every game and every year. They say it's part of the game. But I know it has to hurt deep down inside Rhys isn't happy about not still being here.

Great game all around. Best offense catcher in the league they say… I say he’s a great fielder as well. This team is getting offensive output from all the role players. Even the replacements are doing work on opposing pitchers’ era. I love the feel of this particular team. Go Fightins.

Wheeler's worst pitch of the night was that 15 ft throw back to Realmuto that he scooped like a boss with the toss back to 1st for the double play. Heck of a play.

It is possible. Schwarber contract is up at the end of 2025 so it would just be one more year if we don’t resign Schwarber. Crazy thing is, Hoskins and Schwarber are the same age so they’ll likely retire around the same time
