This is a good influence to reduce waste and plastic BUT make sure to buy the products from zero waste glossary shop!! so that you can save money for not paying for the packaging and you get more product by the weight ✔️ also reuse the glass containers
@@jermainekyla7471 That's exactly my point as well! Sure it's satisfying, but in the end it still isn't eco-friendly coz they'd have to throw away the bottles
I hope next time theyll have time to buy from those shop who sells stuff like these in bulk or like theyre the ones whose gonna bring their containers and just refill from there then pay for it instead of this because they still have those plastic containers.... Anyway have a good day ✨
If you think about it, getting large industrial containers to restore the contents of a smaller aesthetic bottle is great, but the reverse seems a bit silly, don’t you think?
I have a question about the glass jars with detergent. I love the idea of using those (with the taps) for detergent, BUT it feels like it would be hard to get out the product that's under the tap? I've always been a bit skeptical about them when it comes to drinks too. If anyone has tried this, please let me know if it's bothersome or not. Or if there are containers like those where the tap is lower down. Because that would be soooo nice if it worked properly.
One thing I did was make a tide pod container. I sometimes buy them in bags and had this container with side locks and thought this would be perfect. I thought it was kinda dumb people taking them out of their packages and putting into a container but I love it now!
How are you supposed to measure some of this cleaning solution after pouring it out? Also, after some of them are poured into a different container the other one still has solution in it. So you’re not saving any space at all and this is only helpful cosmetically- I kept trying to enjoy this video but there are so many inconveniences that come out of stuff like this that people don’t realize before they go all of with the sorting see through jars. (DONT worry, I know from experience)
I just measure by eye. After a while you get used to knowing how much so the container doesn't matter in that sense (not in the lemonade jars because that's the wrong container for liquid laundry, imo).
These guys out here buying all sorts of things for their laundries whilst my Asian mom for laundry is just like: “Get stuff for the Laundry? Yeah, we already have the detergent. That’s it, no more, no less.”
@@elizamartinez4184 Fabric softener is in the name (it's like a rinse). The rest is for the scent. Some people really like their fabrics smelling a certain way and it having stay that way for a long time.
I couldn't get into this one, putting things into unmarked containers gives me anxiety. Plus, they still have product left on most of the original containers which just creates more clutter.
All that goes through my mind watching this is “wow, look at all the container, imagine they have refills stations for all that. How much plastic are we reducing already”
For them it probably depends on what they are washing. For my family we have liquid downy and liquid Lysol but we only use certain ones depending on what we are washing.
Same here, we have a liquid detergent for when we wash large frequent loads like blankets, bedsheets, towels... and we use the tide pods for our smaller loads like our clothes.
I love some of these, the others make me tingle because they’re not filled up all the way 😭😭. And I get you have to leave room for the top, some of these videos are filled way below the top mark
@@nicholeskitchen9414 Jessica is right most Walmart stores carry the "Glass jars" and thats where 90% come from. (Thats where i got mine as well) 😂 Look in the kitchen dept.

Genius idea You put the like smell beads in one of those thing made for cereal so you can just twist the knob and they will come out (Sorry if this doesn’t make sense it’s midnight and I need to go to bed)
I’ve been curious: if they have the liquid detergent, what’s the point of also having the pods? Are they boosters like oxiclean? Edit: I also see both dyer sheets *and* dryer balls. Aren’t the balls supposed to be in leu of sheets? Maybe I’m confused.
Pods are just a different form of laundry detergent :). Laundry detergent usually comes either liquid, pods, or powder form. They all serve the same purpose and are substitutes for each other - use one or the other but usually you don’t and shouldn’t combine them. Pods for some people are more convenient. The amount of soap is pre measured, they’re easier to travel with, and you can just throw them in with your clothes. Always check the directions on the box to avoid messing up the washer or overflowing bubbles lol. Same with dryer balls and sheets - they both serve the same purpose (but usually dryer balls can be reused). So you’re right about those ! Hope this helped. :)
@@bellav7241 that wasn’t really my question, although it’s good to have this info here in case someone needs it. My question was more wondering why so many videos have both.
pure aesthetic, it doesnt help with anything and in my opinion its a waste since most of the containers using the faucet technique instead the push-nozzle are wasting the contents below the faucet.
@@justlikerunningabicycle3783 you never know. Kids with big imaginations can make strange conclusions that adults wouldn’t understand. Maybe the kid once saw some blue or yellow koolaid/lemonade for a party and it looks really similar. Yes it’s sitting in the laundry area, but maybe that’s because there’s no room in the kitchen? Or because... well because they’re a kid and they don’t usually think that critically. It comes with time.
Dont ask me why, but when i was younger, i used to want to eat the laundry powder so badly, it looked like sherbet and dont even start on the smell....Even now i still do :)
