Hi there, love your videos! I'm just wondering if you can take your vitals first then go ahead and do the A to E, noting the necessary things that line up with each. Or does the A to E assessment need to be started before getting all your vitals (ie. do you need to get temperature with the exposure assessment?). Theoretically could you plot all the vitals in the PEWS Chart and then start assessing A to E the other things and plot those points after completing the A to E. hopefully this makes sense! Thank you lots x
Yes, you can definitely take the vitals first and then complete A to E incorporating those vitals. Also as long as you do the charting before or after A to E it doesn't matter.
