Honestly, I think this is a good representation of what Benefit has to offer. They’re known for their brows and mascara... they don’t really have a whole lot aside from that. But they did give their best selling items (hula, porefeshional, dandelion, and the eyeliner). They do have really good face powders and foundations... but they couldn’t really send that out because of the shades. So, all in all, knowing this is from Benefit, no I’m not disappointed. This is exactly what I would have expected from Benefit...
I feel like Benefit is a very safe brand. They don’t really come out with a lot of products and when they do it’s always something we’ve already seen so, to me, they are a bit boring. 😕
You can add several eye shadows to a calendar and still have variety because there are so many colors and finishes. Yeah, there are differences in mascara as well, but you don't need so many black mascaras in a 12 day calendar.
I agree with the comments about glossybox.. definitely going to get that one and maybe for my loved ones too. Well done for reaching 210 subscribers 👏👏👏

Benefit brow products are the best in my opinion. Ive tried the hydrating porefessional however it just balls up on my skin when applying foundation over the top which is not good!! You can by all those products , exactly that size and you can pay £12 to £14 each for them so the value of the products does exceed the £58 you pay for the calendar. Xx
Omg I hate the roller liner I find it so hard to use, I remember a few years ago the benefit calendars used to sing which was so cool. I think the one in like 2015 had an eye cream aswell which I really liked. They should have put in some of the skincare products or a sample of the foundation they do. Just a bit more diversity.
Ok so they went for the eyes this year. Its nice yea I would've loved more makeup but for the price its ok. I had a question for you since you open advent calendars to show us before Christmas do you save any to open during the 25 days of Christmas? I mean there are so many different kinds of beauty product advent calendars out there. Do the kids get any like the leggo ones. Are there any advent calendars out there specifically for teens? Does hubby get any i saw this awesome one with different bourbons? Hmmmm I'd love to see one with like home products. Keep the calendars coming oh and save me a grey advent addict sweatshirt med grey I have to wait till the 30th to order it pay day.
These are all of their top products i guess. For someone who wants to try their products it's a very nice one! I love all of my benefit products and have so many things i wanna try out, so i would be happy with this calender
I used to work for benefit many moons ago, before beauty advent calendars were a thing! And im really sad that it wasnt as exciting and pumped as Benefit as a company and what they represent! The price I think is er...not bad for someone maybe trying the brand for the first time...but yeah over all...a bit deflating! I liked it. Here in the states those are all of Benefit's most popular items. I think they have the best mascara I have ever tried and I have been using They're Real for two years now. I guess this was more of an Advent calendars to promote their most popular products.
I haven't tried a lot of those products so I would like the calendar because all the minis will last a long time but I'm also waiting for their christmas gift sets xx
Aurelea Parker getting minis really help I did that before I started buying full sized benefit products. The gift sets are out now there no good for me this year bc I have most of the products in them xx

I will say about the mascaras, is they are the 3 biggest sellers and different people prefer each one so they're make sure everyone gets their favourite while still getting the chance to try the other 2. I think if they put the same mascara in it'd be different

This is a great advant calandar for people getting introduced to Benefit's products or people who just need to replenish their basics. I love it because the products are (mostly)universal. You're not going to see a diversity of products beyond brow products, mascaras, blush, and primers because their collection is mostly limited to those products.
Benefit has some things to work on in the size and packaging, however they are famous for their mascara and brow products as well as the porefessional primer line. So I feel like they did a good job doing what their best at. A lip or eyeshadow product would’ve been a no-go since they don’t make those. Although I’ve been told you can use their cheek tint on the lips so maybe that could’ve made it in. But it’s probably best that they stuck to their best and most popular products, maybe I would’ve added a highlighter.

I bought this calendar precisely because it was all lashes and brows 😂 i was actually disappointed it wasn't all that. Also had a horrific time getting all the doors. One pinged halfway across the room and hit the mirror, before rolling under a table 😑
