- This is my new Lego MOC, a BMW M3 E46 GTR in Most Wanted color scheme and in 1:8 scale. This video shows the model in details, covering all the functions and features it has.

This is by far one of the best MOC I've seen!
This is an absolute fantastic model! All these functions, especially the working clutch and handbrake, are stunning! But all this covered with such an authentic bodywork is incredible! I really like the use of all the regular Parts instead of Technic parts to create the body. This makes this model outstanding compared to many others!
Thank you for your kind words! The choice for the system body was kind of neccessary, because this car has no outstanding or unique shapes. It is just a normal car body, so in order to make the model instantly recognisible I had to focus on the small details and especially on the propotions to be spot on. Using technic parts wouldn't have been sufficient for these goals.

You should really get in contact with a bigger channel and let it be shown off there.
The only thing that looks a bit off is the wheel housing in my opinion, but apart from that it‘s perfect.

Nah they would unfortunately ruin it, like the Ideas sets... But would be great to see this from CaDA, they do a great job at keeping the quality and have good technic elements :)

They should make this a lego set
Yes, that would be great. However, I will not run this MOC (or any other I think) on Lego Ideas, because the rules are kind of ridiculus. Anything you upload there will become a property of Lego and they can do anything they want with it. I have seen a lot of submissions there which become a Lego set later (with slight modifications) but not under the Ideas brand. Which means that the original creator did not get any credit... Shame on Lego.

Hi, the set up of the car worked pretty good so far :) how did u set up the printer. The stickers are pretty rough to bring out correct
Amazing build, a dream come true for someone who grew up playing nfs most wanted. The only thing i see that needs to be changed is the seat, its supposed to be red, and the rims are very far off from the original those are Bugatti Chiron rims

Its literally a fully miniaturized version of the REAR car, down to every detail.... working brakes, working clutch, working transmission and shifter, working steering, opening all doors, spinning engine....my God how long did it take you to design and build this thing!?
Thank you for the appreciation! Well, it took approx. 3 years in total, but of course I was busy with other stuff beside this project. Unfortunately I cannot translate this timeframe into work hours, but it was a huge project. The most challenging part was to decide what to actually include. I had a lot of other ideas for even more functions and I had to experiment a lot. In the end I think it turned out pretty well and I'm really proud of it. Worth every minute of struggle :)

Hey first of all my respect, I've never seen such a great MOC of a 1:8 car that keeps quality in functionality and design. To my question, is it possible that you'll cooperate with CaDA and release your model under their name as a purchasable set?

Lights are contained at the manual model?
Lights are not included on the manual model, but the connecting points are there. It should be quite easy to add lights to it.

How long did you spend total on this project?
I haven't measured to be honest and maybe that's better to stay like this... an incredibly large number would be the answer :D

@@Testfortest142 It is around 1000 EUR roughly (maybe a bit less) + 2 Buwizz units... depends on where you get them
Me and my brother just searched all the parts we had out, and ordered 1700 for 480 euro's.
Excited to build it, need to sell a kidney for the 2 buwizz 3.0 though 😂😂

Is this the model that the blockzone sells? Did they steal it from you?
Yes and no. Blockzone sells a parts pack for the manual version, but they did not steal anything. I'm selling the instructions, they are selling the parts. It's a win win situation :)
@@goldenbrickdesignhi mate, I'm very close to purchasing the pack from the block zone, but I keep seeing some very bad reviews of that site, with problems like missing parts and poor service. Can the block zone really be trusted? Are there any other ways to buy all the parts together? I'm in the UK by the way.

@@cdenn2 Hello there. Well, in the beginning there were quite a lot missing parts, so after a while I have contacted them to tell them to revise the parts because a lot of people were upset. They ensured me that they double checked the pack and now it should be OK. However, I have never checked if it's complete or not. But I assume it should be more or less complete.
