  • Badi ki Sabzi is another traditional Rajasthani curry, similar to Gatte ki Sabzi Gravy. It's a quick dish that can be prepared within minutes, making it a convenient option for a meal. Badi is typically made from either Urad Dal or Moong Dal and is often prepared during the summer and stored for later use. To prepare the curry, you simply add the Badis and some spices to water and let it cook. This curry is commonly enjoyed with chapati or puri. For a different flavor, you can add lots of chopped coriander leaves while preparing this dish, especially if you are not eating it during Paryushan.
    Ingredients:-
    Raw potato 250 grams
    Urad dal badi 1 cup
    Tomato puree 2 big size
    Ginger green chilli paste 1 tsp
    Bay leaf 1
    Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
    Black cardamom 1 or 2
    Cinnamon 1 inch
    Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
    Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
    Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
    Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
    Garam masala 1/4 tsp
    Mustard oil 3-4 tsp
    Salt as per taste
    Fresh coriander (chopped) 2 tsp
