I had the same reaction that you two had. Only I was twelve. When the characters are shocked by the vampires out of nowhere, the whole movie shifts in the most fun way. The director and writer, Quentin Tarantino, intended it to be that way. I watch this one every October. It's one of the best vampire movies ever.
The sherif and liquor store guy also played the father and son sheriff and deputy in Kill Bill vol. 1. Michael Parks (the sheriff) basically plays the same character in both.
Also plays it in Death Proof (2007).
And the same character in planet terror
22:15 - Seth knew that El Rey was not a good place for Kate and knew that he'd destroyed her life enough to deny her... he did her a kindness by leaving her behind!
And Salma Hayek...WOW! 🎉😅😂
Hello Marion & Joy!😊 Cheech Marin played three different characters. He was the border patrol guy that opens the door on Kate. He was the greeter in front of the club. Finally, he was the guy that came to meet Seth at the end. I guess they wanted truck drivers, so they could steal their supplies and they would not look for them there. The film was directed by Robert Rodriguez, who is also a member in the band that explodes. Great reactions to this film that starts out as a bank robbery film and ends up with vampires, Marion & Joy!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There is three of these the vampire that stabbed his brothers hand was Danny Trejo the guy that played mutiple roles was Cheech Marin the woman dancing was Salma Hayek the preachers daughter was Juliet Lewis.
My favorite line not shown here was "Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them. I don't give a f**k how crazy they are!"
They skipped all the good one liners
Let’s all just appreciate the fact the Tarantino well know aficionado of feet wrote a script and had his friend direct so he could act in a scene where he gets to drink liquor off the foot of Salma Hayek.
i was in college and my boyfriend at the time surprised me at school and made me and my bff skip class and go see this movie in the theatre. it was awesome.
Gotta love that sudden genre change in the bar, going from a crime thriller to a creature feature. Genius. Glad to see y'all react to it! Howdy from Arizona!

Not "Sin City"?
The OST album for this one is just stellar.
Me and my siblings loved this movie SO MUCH growing up that my older brother’s first tattoo was a replica (and arguably better I may say...😅) of Seth's tattoo! My Dad went ballistic!
And I love at 4:52 when Seth even says to his own brother, "I'm a professional piece of shit, but there's ways to do things and lines you don't cross" which corresponds with his later line to Kate, "I'm a bastard, I'm not a fucking bastard..."
It'll be such a loss to cinema if Tarantino stops at 10 movies! I get his point of not losing his magic whilst he's still got it but it'll be such a shame! Plus I read around 2016 that he was planning on 3 westerns! I think he's due another western after the classics of Django and the H8ful Eight! I write screenplays as a hobby and the man I emulated dialogue from is Quentin Tarantino! And 11:21 - no one can convince me otherwise! Salma Hayek was THE BADDEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET DURING THIS TIME! If I had to make a list of 5 women during this time, she would be on it! And...
12:15...it was just an ordinary crime film...until...😅😂😂
Tarantino basically said (not verbatim), "sometimes writers lose what they have...I just wanna make a body of work, say into the mic, "fucking beat that!", drop it and then walk away..." I 100% get his thinking and it would be epic to do it that way! HOWEVER...I think the world is owed more great Tarantino characters with unique dialogue and explosive bloody action scenes! I think the REAL Tarantino fans should make a petition to get him to continue!
I'm not a fanboy...but! Back in 2009 I went to a Juliette (Lewis) and The Licks gig in London as a photographer (and, coincidentally, fan). During the gig and between songs, I was standing high up on the bit of stage where the PA speakers were, with my camera pointing at Juliette. As I lowered the camera, she stared right at me with that Juliette look and mouthed "Hi". Well, you remember the witch at the end of Wizard of Oz? That was me. I nearly melted into the crowd.
This film was the one that made me have an instant crush with Salma Hayek.
@@liljay216 That would have been Desperado for me
The amount of people those two films caused to have a crush on S.H. would stretch around half the 🌍. 🥰😍
you and EVERYBODY(!) got confused by this movie... AND STILL LIKED IT! 😂 ENJOYED YOUR REACTION! 👍☺
Sex machine hitting Seth is still one of the most savage punches I’ve ever seen 😂.. If it wasn’t a movie he would’ve been sleep lol
React to Desperado please. Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez directed this movie together. Tarantino and Rodriguez have very similar styles and Rodriguez directed “Desperado”
Really need to do El Mariachi before Desperado.
Yeah Desperado is one of my favorite action movies, but the two other movies in the series are garbage. They should react to Desperado for sure though 💯😎
@@thaistomp Totally disagree that El Mariachi is garbage. It was Robert Rodriguez’s first film and made on a ridiculously small budget. Yet it’s quirky, fun, good action, acting and story. It would be interesting to know what other movies you like and dislike.
I love how Rodriguez and Tarantino duo have made so much together. They're frequent collaborators in many projects. Danny Trejo and Cheech Marin are in multiple Rodriguez projects and Harvey Keitel and Michael Parks are frequent collaborator to Tarantino. This film has best aspects of both Tarantino and Rodriguez film and its always fun to show this people that know nothing of it.
When I first watched this film I was so confused when they reached the club
Many folks overlook the connections to Pulp Fiction. Red Apple cigarettes, a Tarantino made up brand, can be seen on the dashboard of their Mercury Cougar when the Geko Brothers pull up to the motel. Clooney buys Big Kahuna burgers when he leaves the motel to go on a food run. Like Red Apple cigarettes, Big Kahuna is another fictional brand that appears in Tarantino films. In a pivotal scene from Pulp Fiction, we learn from Jules that the brand is based out of Hawaii and makes some "tasty burgers!" Finally, the bank teller they kidnap is played by Brenda Hillhouse, who also played Butch's mother in the Christopher Walkin scene in Pulp Fiction. Interestingly, she was also Tarantino's acting coach from high school.
The marketing was so slick I don't think most people knew what this movie was really about. After that dance number the plot twist blew minds.
People still had minds to be blown after that dance?
@@daverhoden445 Point taken😊
One of the best movies of all time. Dope reaction guys.
Salma Hayek. God dayum!
She was a real goddess back then 🍑💯
There's a 3 season long tv series called From Dusk Till Dawn, based on this film that was produced by Robert Rodriguez. It takes the film story and goes deeper into the vampire back story, and expands the characters further. It also changes Ritchie's character in a very interesting way. You should add it to your watch list as its very good.
This movie it's just awesome and your reaction was amazing too. 😊
FYI the border patroller is Cheech Marin,.minus the mustache, from Cheech and Chong movies, then he played the dude that they were supposed to meet, with his normal mustache.😂
One of my favorite vamp movies.👍🏾👍🏾
Great fun reaction and a great blend of horror & action - FYI: Sex Machine is portrayed by Tom Savini who dabbled in acting & directing but is best known as a brilliant make-up artist whose work includes the Romero DEAD zombie series, CREEPSHOW & the original FRIDAY THE 13th among so many other iconic films.
Great reaction, guys!
This is one of the coolest movies ever and in my top 10. Tarantino & Clooney are awesome as Gecko bros´. The script, characters, narration, music.... all works so well. And Salma´s dance scene... iconic and hot as hell.
Tarantino is a genius. He made a script just so he can drink champagne (dont remember what was it) from Selma Hayek's body.
Best. Reason. Ever.
Enjoyed your reactions when they turned into vampires 😊
I really enjoyed your reaction to this movie guys this is like one of my favorite vampire movies !!!
Cheech Marin plays 3 roles, the border patrol, the guy on the steps, and the guy bringing the car.
The scariest thing about this movie was Ritchie ... & not him as a vampire either
John Saxon is in it. He was in Enter the Dragon and the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
Tarentino has a thing with feet. It's weird, but I don't judge.
They actually had to hypnotize the actress and put her in a trance for the snake scene because she was terrified of Snakes.
Salma Hayek the godess
just love both of you
bang bang... GAME OVER!
Classic movie. Clooney is awesome in this movie. Another great reaction thank you guys
i absolutely love the high level of violence were shown in the first half... then the twist WOW! and the ending was a holy shit on an alter the bar is the top of a pyramid of vampires this entire time and they been doing it for decades
Lol, "Richie has a big issue."
This is gonna be fun
Bat Shit Crazy Movie !! Great Reaction Joy & Marion
There is a few prequels to this movie but they were straight to dvd releases joy and marion ,robert Rodriguez the director /writer also did the spy kids movies
They're not vampires, they're a sort of aztec low level blood drinking vampire-like humanoid snake creature. The tv series goes alot deeper into what they are and what the real purpose of that bar is. Retcons a few things as well, especially ritchie and carlos but at least in the series they're not the evil demonic things they're implied to be in the movies
Demonic imp vampires 🧛♀️ 😈
You two are so cute !! Where are you from.? Hard to believe anybody on the planet has never seen this film. I am so old!!! (70) Have you seen "tropic thunder ".
We are currently here in Romania. Joy is originally from The Philippines 🤗
You guys should watch Blade next.
Hell yeah 😈
Hey guys you're great and so is this movie
The movie leaves a bit of mystery too: What "El Rey" is that the Gecko brothers were trying to get to. Seth's cryptic statement at the end, "Do you know what El Rey is?" and refusing to take Kate there because he's not that evil, makes it sound supernatural. He had also said after Richie's death that his brother would have found peace there, which is hard to imagine Richie finding in any physical place. Fun bit of unexpected lore.

I'd like to suggest a movie NOBODY has reacted to. Four Rooms (1996) Tarantino is involved in this film also.
Nice reaction guys. For a good laugh you should watch some of the “Cheech & Chong” films.
Fun!
Reaction on kgf most popular movie in indian like rrr
Sweet
Marian went to the Bar The Titty Twister a few times with some friends after work and he never saw any vampires.
Have you seen midnight mass TV series?
If you like this movie please watch these two movies:
NATURAL BORN KILLERS
VERY BAD THINGS (make sure to watch the unrated version)
This is my favorite George Clooney movie.
@MJoy4Fun: If you enjoyed 'From Dusk Til Dawn' - recommended another movie to watch, and do a reaction video to: brilliant, 2005, movie 'Frank Miller's SIN CITY.'
'SIN CITY' was also directed [ actually co-directed ( with Frank Miller ) ] by Robert Rodriguez, who directed 'From Dusk Til Dawn.' Rodriguez's good friend, and fellow filmmaker, Quentin Tarentino ( who wrote the screenplay for, and played "Richie Gecko" in, 'From Dusk Til Dawn' ) directed A scene in 'SIN CITY' [ the scene in the "The Big Fat Kill" segment - where "Dwight" ( Clive Owen ) has an imagined conversation with the dead "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro ) as he's driving to The Pits. ]
'SIN CITY' is based mostly on the first, third, and fourth books from the "SIN CITY" graphic novels ( comic books - for us OLD guys, like me ) by famed comic book writer-illustrator Frank Miller [ of "Daredevil," "Elektra," "The Dark Knight Returns" ( "Batman" story, ) "300," ect. fame. ]
Miller also CO- directed 'SIN CITY,' along with Robert Rodriguez.
Synopsis ( story summary: )
Set in the miserable town of "Basin City" -
Prologue ( Pre- credits: ) "The Customer is Always Right," Part 1 - a hitman, known as "The Salesman" ( Josh Hartnett ) and a woman - "The Customer" ( Marley Shelton ) meet on a penthouse balconey.
[ This short segment was actually filmed FIRST, as a proof-of-concept - for Rodriguez to convince Miller to allow him to make 'SIN CITY;' ]
Opening credits, then;
"That Yellow Bastard," Part 1: An aged police detective - "John Hartigan" ( Bruce Willis ) tries to protect a young girl - "Nancy" from becoming the next victim of a serial pedophilic rapist-killer ( "Roark, Jr." ) [ Nick Stahl; ]
"The Hard Goodbye:" "Marv" - a tough, scarred-faced, but good-hearted man ( Micky Rourke ) goes on a rampage after a woman whom, as he says, "was kind to me" [ "Goldie" ( Jamie King ) ] is killed.
[ co- director Frank Miller has a cameo as the priest in the confessional; ]
"The Big Fat Kill:" A private detective - "Dwight McCarthy" ( Clive Owen ) must protect his girlfriend "Shellie" ( Brittany Murphy, ) and then "the girls of Old Town" [ prostitutes - lead by "Gail" ( Rosario Dawson ) ] from a drunken, harassing man - "Jackie Boy" ( Benicio del Toro; )
"That Yellow Bastard," Part 2: "Hartigan" is seen just shortly post- the events in Part 1, then eight ( 8 ) years later he must defend a now- 19 year old "Nancy" ( Jessica Alba ) against a now hideously deformed "Yellow Bastard" ( "Roark, Jr." from Part 1 ) [ Nick Stahl; ]
"The Customer is Always Right," Part 2: "The Salesman" ( from the Prologue ) is seen starting a conversation with "Becky" ( Alexis Bledel ) [ from "The Big Fat Kill" segment ] in a hospital elevator;
End credits.
[ NOTE: Listed in the theatrical cut edition order, NOT the later - on DVD release - the Recut, Extended, Unrated edition order. ]
Brilliantly filmed, digitally, mostly against green screens, in black-and-white ( with splashes of color ) - to match the style of Miller's graphic novels.
Being a Robert Rodriguez film - there is, of course, an outragous amount of violence ( some of it graphic. ) So be warned.
Also contains strong language and brief ( female, top frontal ) nudity, and a brief ( non graphic ) sex scene. MPAA Rating = R.
🙂
