This song is one of the strongest examples of how catharsis can be created with very little. Very few people are capable of this. It requires a sophisticated that only the greatest know.I Love you Thom.❤
I seriously have watched this now like 17 times and and ugly ugly sobbing through it everytime it hits ever single beautiful and painful emotion I’ve ever had. Thank you Thom I love you so.
Beautiful composition of the frame. The yellow light in the lower left corner from behind Thom glowing, the source of which is appearing and disappearing from the slow rocking of his body. The lower right corner has a cylindrical object reflecting with gleaming lights from the screen far behind. A perfect geometrical shape with one completely dark side. Then the screen in the background is mesmerizing with the myriad of pixels showing abstract imagery. It often goes completely white to build a bright background for Thoms' head. The wires all curled up like stems of some strange plants. A strict and rigid shape of a piano. And finally, Thom himself is like an image from a poster that came alive, with red-orange light on his face and arms. What a shot! The only thing I'd improve is the quality of the image.
Can anyone help me understand what's playing in the background at the beginning, making that high pitched soundscape? Is it simply a triggered backing track, or maybe something more is going on? Edit: it comes back at 3:56

Almost certain it’s a patch he’s got going on the board to his left
