      Thing is: with 19 you are not really an adult. It takes time to grow up. I turn 27 this year and it is just now that I look into the mirror, see myself, FEEL myself and think: I am a woman now. (P.S.: acne doesn’t necessarily go away with age. I still have a lot of break outs)

    This routine is so valid but PUHLEASE do not use a scrub on your face!!! It can damage your skin barrier and cause even worse acne + patchiness and redness, instead, use a gentle exfoliator like salicylic acid

    I used to have such bad acne, but most skincare products just made it worse. After a while I figured out what foods my body didn't want, the body detoxifies through the skin, and dairy was a huge issue for me. After skipping all skincare but cleaning with water, moisturizing with olive and almond oil and controlling the amount of dairy I consume my acne is GONE. I had it on my whole face, chest and back.

    Don’t use a sugar scrub (or any other physical exfoliant) before using a chemical exfoliant like the Some By Mi Miracle cream. That’s mostly likely the reason you’re showing such a pink undertone now. Too much of a good thing can be harmful. The redness is an indicator you’re over exfoliating and creating inflammation. I would recommend actually decreasing the amount you use the miracle cream to 2-3x a week, and if that isn’t controlling your breakouts start working in the Some By Miracle retinol products (go slow, 1-2 nights per week at first. Lay down something like the Barrier repair cream in the blue jar, the retinol, then more cream).
    There’s not much worse for your skin than chronic inflammation.

      @Joy-em7vz 2 месяца назад

      It is. In the past, when I was a teen, we were taught to use sulfuric products on order to fight acne and blackheads. As I sadly discovered many many years later, using aggressive products only increases the production of sebum, worsening the greasy /combo skin appearance. Using oil cleanser instead makes the greasy skin to be decreasing the production of sebum since itt feels already moisturized enough... AT the end, our face is not a greasy pan we used to fry some food! 😂😂😂
