100% agree with you! Was fortunate enough to go watch this game and was the best game of football ive seen from stoke in a very long time and that junho is mustard
Thank God for an excellent team performance when we really needed it...very glad to see the warm applause for Tyrese when he went off- he's been good for us, overall, shame he didn't hit the heights he once promised to- if he is away, I wish him all the best. This summer will be very important in terms of ins/outs. A really strong, reliable central defensive partnership would be a good start.
I wasn't here a few weeks ago commenting, but I often watch Schuey's post-match interviews. I'm one of the minority that doesn't have any ill will towards him whatsoever, and I've been annoyed by the babies crying over him leaving, blaming him for a career move, when (if anyone) they should blame our board of directors. Hey ho, MPAI. I listened to audio commentary today, sounded like we were average whilst Stoke sounded a constant threat, so no complaints at the result. Other results weren't too kind to us either, so it's squeaky bum time in Devon, hoping we can bag another point or three.
Schumacher says the same thing after every game if you look back at his interviews with Plymouth repeat repeat repeat. I would like to know if the stoke fans would want Schumacher as manager next season???
Everyone played well, Jun Ho stood out for his ability and work ethic. Couldn’t fault them today, they worked as hard off the ball as on it, which was the difference.
Amazing. Junho was fantasic. Cundle was electric very good today and linked well with junho. Manhoef was pacey and technical with dribbling as always. Hoever fantastic. The boys all earned their wages today with extra
Well done Schuie. A classic Argyle performance today. As I have said before, despite the so called Stoke “fans” using the C word when discussing you and your future with SCFC, I have every confidence that you will get through next season. If not, then they don’t deserve you. My sadness is this…..of every past Argyle manager/player……there are a very small handful that would never now be welcome back Home. Peter Swann is an obvious example. I had hoped that, when you one day left, you would avoid this list. Unfortunately, the timing and manner of your departure suggests not. How very sad for all. Ask any proper Argyle fan and they genuinely care about you and your wonderful family. I hope you stay up chap, I wish you every success, and I hope SCFC gets everything it deserves. 💚🥟🍺
When you say 'the manner of your departure', what exactly do you mean? You may not know that the club told him not to return to Home Park to say goodbye, but I know he did phone several players, and texted good wishes to all of the squad. So, what, precisely, is your beef with him? I suspect you just know we lost a good boss, and that makes you pissy. But you should be pissy with the board of directors, they allowed him to talk to Stoke, they allowed him to go. He has a career, it was a good move for him.
@@GaryM67-71 Schuie left just ahead of the Transfer window, at a time when there were so many games during a short period of time, immediately after he had met the Chairman to discuss our future, and then he took the Argyle Assistant Manager, Goalkeeping coach, individual player coach, and fitness coach. In fact, the only ones remaining were those that had some level of integrity towards the club.
@@DarrenCurtis-qn8jg All of that was sanctioned by the board of directors, so if you feel aggrieved, tell them and leave Schuey alone. Be grateful for what he did for us. Also, grow up.
@@GaryM67-71 “Leave Schuie alone”?….oh come on…...I am expressing my opinion, and it is still perfectly legal to do so. I suggest you watch the interview with Simon Hallett (Argyle Chairman in case you don’t know) who makes similar comments regarding the feeling of being let down. If our manager asks for permission to speak to another club at that time of the year, then Argyle are not going to refuse (if the individual asks, then he/she is obviously not concerned about the job in hand). But that does not mean it is the fault of the Argyle Board. And as for the “grow up” piece…..groan….really?……this is where I question you as “God’s Messenger” isn’t it…Praise the Lord.
@@DarrenCurtis-qn8jg So many Argyle fans need to grow up. The vitriol toward Schumacher is ridiculous and unwarranted. It's football, it's a business and careers for those involved. These sorts of situations arise all of the time with players and coaches. To hear Argyle fans chanting abuse today, after the wonderful promotion season was sickening. Children, babies, all of them.
What a relief!! Hats off to the manager. He was under enormous pressure and navigated his way through. Fingers crossed they can build a solid and consistent team next season 🤞
How things have changed from every other home game with protests at wanting Schumacher out. Beating Plymouth doesn't make up for all other teams that have beaten you's and it won't be any different next season
I am guessing they are all currently on the Barbican, sipping a Proper Job, absorbing the fresh air and enjoying the fresh sea views and above UK average house prices…..there’s always a tomorrow here.
