It is so wonderful how you can make these deep and profound truths understandable. I thank you so much.
But your media hate Hindus. Islam and xianity or any abrahimc religion is devoid of such knowledge.
Understand he is an IITian..so, he has the scientific rationale and the spiritualistic spirit combined in him which is a great combination to explain the great, deep philosophy of Vedanta. To me somehow he looks like what Vivekananda would have looked in his thirties! He even seems to have the heavy eyelid that was so much a part of Vivekananda's powerful looks. The monks of Ramakrishna mission are some of the most peaceful and non controversial monks spreading peace everywhere. Great lecture.
Easwaran R. B. I'm born in America and my family are Christian's. So I have no background in Vedanta or Hinduism and as a new learner I am very thankful for the very precise and easy to understand way this man explains the subjects. I feel a lightness from his voice and lectures.

Pronam Swami ji. I asked to myself few years ago "What is the meaning to this life?" and since then have read and learned about various philosophies and fortunately reached Vedanta. But Swami, I always get mocked by others. They say these questions are stupid and that I am crazy. I am not marred by their opinion but since I have grown a deep faith in Vedanta, their doubt seems too disturbing. I cannot begin to explain the basics and they judge me. What can I do about it? How can I let it not affect me? Has anyone felt the same too?
Yes I am too having the exact thing. I am having firm clarity and conviction in Vedanta and non dualism. But my cousins and family members even elders of different beliefs tring to break my faith. I think since I am a novice at this path, I am unable to argue perfectly. I guess much more knowledge and practice is the only way. And one thing I have observed that who ever comes to this path they spend 8 or 12 years, so this is a reason may be that they learn for so long , to have much more logic, clarity. But I too have the same question for the time being. Better to be silent I guess😄
It is not their doubt that disturbs you, it is your own doubt.
I too have joked about God out of love for God in times of confusion (both while seeing God outside and inside but separate from me) 😂❤... now will have to joke about Non-Duality in times of confusion😂❤❤❤

Self realisation has a very key role to play in finding happiness even in good meaningful things like love❤❤❤. So women and men both may find it equally difficult to find meaning. But eventually, all humans can find meaning, because in reality, self realisation is simple.❤
Edit: Yes, self realisation is the ultimate goal, but even to realise the meaning of love and service to others, some extent of self realisation is required. Absolute self realisation is also simple, without doubt.❤💯

I knew that the cliche of motherhood would come up. I understand you need to feed the collective ego, but even motherhood offers but temporary happiness and a lot of fears. Think of the evil things that most sons grow up to do, and the girls they disappoint, all the cheating, etc. You should look deeper than the collective ego, which looks at life from a veil. Mothers fear death, and most of them are even evil to other people's kids.
Motherhood is not a cliche, it is the ultimate realization of what it means to be a woman. Full stop.
