Becca, I just wanted to say I got your book on Amazon when I started my plant journey and it has been invaluable! You have so much great information in there, plus the photos are gorgeous. I would totally have gone to a signing if I was in the area. BTW, bad travel sucks, glad you made it home OK.
I also love Marriott! I have had one bad experience (a dirty room). I went to the front desk, they were completely apologetic. They moved me to a new room (all I wanted), refunded the cost of the stay, and gave me another complimentary night in the future. Two days after my stay I got an email from them, and they also gave 100,000 free reward points! Definitely went above and beyond

Atlantic garden s is one of my favorite Raleigh nurseries! So wish I had been able to make it to the book signing to actually meet you. I have a daughter that lives in Raleigh who would have been glad to put you up for the night if only we had known about your disaster! Glad you had a good book signing!
If your check out from the hotel is earlier than your train or flight, you can always leave your bags at the hotel. Concierge should have told you that they have a safe room for these things!
The irony of it all! I live in Charlotte and literally discovered Grow yesterday because I was looking to see if there was anywhere that sold de la Tanks in my area! If I had known I would definitely have gone to the signing!
