Listened to this when I was in high school midnight with my friends studying for our matric exams, smoking weed and thinking about the future... We then Went to different universities thereafter, Now we're here with almost everything we ever dreamed about and this tape serves as a time capsule with memories of everything we been through ❤️
JaBig is probably my favorite House artist, at least in the traditional house music (deep house) branch of the genre... because I do enjoy Dark Tribal House music, too... But, I mean, JaBig is so consistent with his productions. Oftentimes, I'll hear a house musician start off great with a tone, but not before long they kind of veer off into a strange soft techno sound. But not JaBig. JaBig keeps that core style that I define house music by all the way throughout his long tracks. It's a hard sound to explain... it's... futuristic? Cosmopolitan? Sophisticated? Refreshing? Deep.
JaBig doesn't produce, does he? He just makes great mixes.
