Honestly as a Colts fan all I could do was laugh during the Vikings game, that was unironically the most memorable part of the season and I was traumatized all 18 weeks including the bye
I was in Carlsbad, NM during the game, and I watched the game on my phone, I put it down as a niners fan, we wanted them to lose so we could take the 2 seed, then a few hours later I jump in right in time to see the field goal.
As a colts fan it was also very funny 😂 lol glad you won

I hate when Rivers gets lumped in with Brissett, Wentz, and Ryan during the carousel. He went 11-5 and lost a close road playoff game to Buffalo. I think any Colts fan would take 11-5

I remember the hop I had in pre season, then we tied Week 1, Go blown out Week 2, won Week 3 and I was like 1-1-1 this don’t make sense then it’s 3-2-1, HEY 321 end the PAINNN. And then the drinking, the lols, 4th Quarter Dallas, 33-0, losing to the eagles. Just a trainwreck, that I kept watching like a bad Netflix show

That Vikings game was horrible experience as a colts fan. I was soooo happy watching that first half. Seeing exciting football for like the first time all season. Though I had in the back of my mind how much do we need to do to slow them down in the 2nd to keep that lead. After every Vikings touchdown I saw that they were on track the entire time to come back. It’s sad that I was never fully confident that we would win that game, you shouldn’t expect your team to lose that but I did.
As a Packers fan, I was really hoping you guys would destroy the Vikings and the Cowboys! But man, those losses, were painful, it was like watching the Falcons Super Bowl loss to the Patriots all over again, twice! And as a Packers fan, who watched my team suffer horribly last season, I can definitely relate with much of the pain you and your team went through. And I hope you and the rest of the Colts fans that had to witness that Vikings abomination (along with the Cowboys abomination), got your money back.👍

Dude, too accurate. That was the weirdest season for us I've ever seen. Just... What even was last year? We were almost always in games, until suddenly we weren't. It was stupid how bad it got lol.

As a diehard Colts fan this is disturbingly accurate. Only thing I'd say is that I think us Colts fans are WAY higher on AR.
Yeah I don't think anyone is expecting him and Steichen to turn this franchise around in one season - there'll be some bumps along the road, that's for sure. But he's a very impressive young man, both athletically and in how he conducts himself in interviews, and if he comes close to reaching his ceiling then 2022, as much of a dog turd of a season as it was, will all have been worth it.

As a colts fan he captured exactly the emotion of the season, especially the Vikings. I Will remember that day for many reasons, my sister got married, but most importantly the Colts blew the biggest lead in history

As a Colts fan, I have been waiting all off season for this. Aaaand he nailed it. Idk how the rest of Colts nation felt, but that's how I felt most of the season/off season. Excited to see what Richardson will do.
I had a legit mental health episode in 2021 as a result of the MNF loss in Baltimore (there were obviously other factors, but it was the trigger event), and the fact that I managed to go through all of 2022 without a repeat incident, or ending up in therapy, is honestly kinda shocking. Because when you lay it all out like this, man, it was a hell of an experience. My brain legitimately broke at the Saturday hire, and by the time of the Vikings' loss and week 18 I could do nothing but laugh maniacally, much like Tom did here.
From everything I've seen from Anthony Richardson and how he carries himself as a person, at such a young age, I'm optimistic about the future. There may be some very serious bumps in the road in 2023, and I might get to witness one of those bumps in person because I'm booking my tickets for Frankfurt (I live in the UK), and Belichick and the Patriots' defence against a QB that young and raw is a terrifying prospect. But if that turns out to be a healthy part of the process and if in 2-3 years he's a star franchise QB and we're finally off the carousel it will all have been worth it. Everything we went through in late 2021 and 2022 will have been worth it.
I hope Frank does well in Carolina. He's a good guy, maybe a little bit too nice to be an NFL head coach but he's easy to root for.
I still struggle to believe how bad our oline regressed last year. Really hoping for Richardson's sake that they get it figured back out by the time he becomes the starter.
AR is so good in the pocket, it dont really matter how the oline is. his o line was awfull last yr. Matty had a big part in the o line issues aswell. but they were bad! that one guy, i forget his name, biug as hell and even slower than he was big, stunts every snap and the big ass dumb guy just couldnt figure out that when a defender leaves ur zone, another guy will apear. and matt looked like a cripple

This was a painful season that was just depressing. I swear coming out of Week 10 vs Raiders, Colts lost every game after that: 11,12,13,15,16,17,18. A whole lot of Ls.
But knowing that we were going to pick in the top 5 in the draft gave me hope.
I hope we at least protect AR15 with a good O Line and some weapons; no need to rush the kid, let him develop and build a team around him.

I've been a Colts fan for 20+ years, and honestly I think the most upset I've ever been after watching an NFL game was...when Atlanta lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
OK, maybe I was more upset after the Pittsburgh loss in the 05 playoffs, or the loss in the SB to the Saints, but 28-3 is definitely in the top three. I cannot imagine what watching that game must've been like for a life-long Falcons fan.
So in terms of misery, I don't think we're even close. We got a Lombardi, we got to watch two generational QBs play for our team. People don't talk about this much because of how it all ended, but man watching Luck was so damn fun, even more fun than watching peak Manning.

Lol to think a team that was literally on their 4th QB since Luck retired still had legitimate playoff expectations.
Nobody expected our offensive line to regress that badly, J.T. was coming off an unbelievable year, there was no reason to expect our special teams to implode, and there was no reason to believe the defence wouldn't be good enough after getting Ngakoue and Gilmore if Shaq Leonard could stay healthy. Plus we knew the Titans weren't all that so it was perfectly reasonable to expect that we'd win the division. We were catastrophically wrong, of course we were, but that's how it goes in sports.
